What was your first coaster?

My first coasters were the Mister Twister and the Wildcat at Elitch Gardens in CO. I was 8 yrs old and I can't remember which was first but they were the same day. I remember the Mister Twister scared me quite a bit.
My first coaster was the Beastie ak PKI. At CP, my first coaster was Mine Ride.
My first coaster was the Beastie at PKI as well, but my first "real" coaster, and I use that term lightly was the now defunct Screamin' Demon at PKI on the same trip. At CP, 20 years ago, the only coasters I would ride was the Blue Streak and the Corkscrew, can't figure out why the Gemini scared me...but went to CP again this year for the first time since that trip 20 years ago and rode everything...and still wonder why I was such a wuss at 8!!

Ohio by birth, Florida gator by the grace of God, Texan by luck...but the Po!nt is always in my heart!
Junior Gemini!

Unless you count a pre-natal ride on Gemini.

My first ride wasn't at CP... it was at the now de-funct Oprland USA :*(. I do believe it was Choas! What an insane dark ride. My first ride at CP was Magnum. What a way to start that off!

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?" (as stated by my best-friends about CP)
My first coaster was Millennium Force.
Just kidding, but my first coaster was The Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Boy was I afraid, but I went on it over and over.

Against Ticket To Ride since day one!
Corkscrew, 1976
My first coaster was the Comet at Meyers Lake Park in Canton, Ohio when I was 4 years old. (1961) My mom started it all - she loved to ride, too. Since my dad refused to ride, she had to take us kids. Also used to ride the coaster at Chippewa Lake Park as a kid. When I got a little older, I used to see how many rides I could get on the Blue Streak at CP in one day!
Hey punk, I've NEVER been scared of a coaster yet. And I challenge any park to build one that WILL scare me.
my first coaster was The Turn of the Century at SFAGm(now it is the Demon :)!!)..scared the heck out of me. there are five in my family so i had to ride alone...after that it was 5 years or so before i did another ride like that, when i was 15. now you can't keep me off of 'em. been 17 years of fun fun fun now!! my first CP coaster was Magnum.

ride early, ride often!!!
My first was Jr. Gemini(I must of rode 10 times a visit).

I remember that I was going to ride Mine Ride several years later but was short by about an inch. Next year I rode it along with Gemini.

The experiance I had on Blue Streak came much later however.

Once I rode Magnum, with my eyes closed first time, I was offically an addict! Not even 10 years of age!

Live for FUN!

GO SHAMROCKS!
GO WOLVERINES!
My first coaster was the Blue Streak, but then it was only the blue streak, wildcat, and the jumbo jet at c.p. PITTY.
Either the Sky Streak or Nightmare at Boblo Island. Boblo used to be my home park intil 1994.

Mine was the Outer Limits: Flight of Fear at Paramount Kings Island. I figured if I was going to break my fear, this ride would be the one to do it.
My first coaster at CP was Mantis.
In 80 when i first visited CP i was terrified of rollercoasters, because who can remember just a few years before, that horrible rollercoaster movie came out where that guy was planting bombs on the coasters! Remember when he blew the track on that big wooden coaster and the train flew off the track and you could see the ladys head get crushed on the pavement??? When i first seen Gemini i was sure that was the coaster in the movie!! I didn't ride a coaster until 83 when i came back to CP, and of course it was Gemini.
THE BEAST; I couldnt see it so i wasnt scared
What movie is that? I've never heard of that.
It is called Rollercoaster (pretty unimaginative title) Here is some more information on it.

My first was King Cobra at PKI. Once I rode standing up, I figured the rest would be a walk in the park. Except that the next year I went to CP, and my first there was Raptor, the year it was built. I was a little nervous, but loved it from day one. Then we moved back to Magnum. My friend and I get in line, and I was scared to death. Neither of us had ridden it before, but only I tried to get out of line, and he wouldn't let me. We get on, get half way up the hill, he turns to me and says "Jeff, you were right, we shouldn't have rode this!" We get off the ride, run past my dad, and got right back in line.

Rides to the top of the World: 8
My first coaster was one called Thunder Run at Kentucky Kingdom.I was only about 5 or 6 and I didnt know what to think of it. That wasnt what got me hooked though. A few years later when I was 9 or 10 I went to Busch Gardens tampa. My first coaster there was Python, that was great! Untill some one convinced me to go on Kumba, I didnt want to go on it, but I had no choice. After that the rest was history.
