For once, I am going to agree with Dan.  A different ride, maybe, but the Gemini 100 was ours.

I dunno about the screamer thing though....

This comes up with Brian and I a lot...I stand that the Gemini 100 was like Woodstock; nothing can top the first one. I say we move onto a different marathon for next year...somehow that day was sacred for a LOT of reasons and can't be duplicated :-) Definitely one of my best days EVER.

/me thinks that mayhaps the solution is to have one (or possibly two) organized marathons a year, rotating rides each year... and *grumble* I wanted to stick around... if only my muffler hadn't been missing.

I guess what I'm saying is that I want another Gemini 100 some day.  I think there's no reason to hoard the most power-rideable coaster.  I don't think I need to mention the problems with record-hoarders (*cough*GRP*sneeze*).

Wait....before the Gemini 100 happened, didn't you ride Magnum 100 times in one day, Dan? Don't think it could happen again?

!
The most I have done on Magnum is 80 is 6 HOURS during the first day of MM.  I could have gotten 90 but they went down three times!

How about a mean streak 50?

It can be done.

I do believe that we chose Gemini due to it being the only ride feasable for 100 laps in one day, it having the largest ride capacity and usually shorter lines. A Mean Streak 50 would cost everyone too much $$ in chiropractor work later on and I dont know about any others but to me to ride MS 50x in one day wouldnt exactly be "fun".
The Gemini 100 was fun because we ALWAYS saw fellow participants on the other trains, or on line and carried on with them, not to mention the seagulls (inside joke, righ Matt? ;)) Those type things would be impossible on MS (except maybe for the seagulls) It took me 7 hours to do 40 Raptor laps with 3 trains and walk ons, I guess with 3 trains running on MS it could be done.

Heh, did that stupid bird keep coming back?
Yeah that bird came back, and I didn't have another water bottle to thro... I mean to give it more water.  :)  As far as the MS 50,  I'll have to borrow my friends neck brace.

This second hill is my favorite part of the ride. It is so Cool!

I loved the Gemini 100. I was really sick the week before, but I made sure that I was on Gemini that day (especially for that weekly run up to C Brake!) But, honestly it was a lot of fun and I'm so glad that you guys did that. We were so happy to have the attention (even if you all were nuts) and we really loved you guys.

*kisses to all*

Wish me luck for LiveE.

I think that marathoning on MS would possibly be the most physically draining...not only would the ride be a little rough (especially power-riding), but the sheer distance from the long ramp down exiting the station, the long run to the entrance and loooooong run under the structure, and finally up the stairs. Just running down the queue straight-away can be very draining.

I think that MS would be the most challenging of them all to marathon on. With that said, would I be up for it? Hell yeah! Would I need several days to recuperate from the blisters on the feet? You betcha!
