I was looking online for some internship opportunities for Cedar Fair and the only thing that came up was Internal Audit or something like that. Is this really the only internship they offer?
Police Dept offers an internship that I know for sure. Also, alot of the depts are open to counting your position as 'internship credit' for your school-you could ask the dept supervisors. I did that for my dept.

It was a few years back (either 2007 or 2008) but a friend of mine did an internship at Cedar Point in the marketing department as a group sales representative.

If your job at Cedar Point is related to your field of study, there's certainly a possibility to gain internship credit. Marketing, Journalism, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Horticulture, Music/Theatre, and Sales/Merchandising all come to mind. I think in most cases, the opportunities that exist are normal seasonal jobs that happen to relate enough to have potential to earn college credit. Whether any particular job qualifies for a specific program depends on your school.
There are more "traditional" internship positions available. I know the Marketing Department hires a number of interns each year - college students in related fields, like Journalism or New Media.
There is a section on the Cedar Point website that has more details, including contact information for various departments. Scroll down to "College Credit & Internships" near the bottom of the page.
