I am beginning to plan out what I will bring this summer, but I have some questions.
-Is there anything that we are NOT allowed to bring?
-Does CP charge you for using electricity to power a window A/C (that I will bring)? What about using a fan?
-Are there closets/lockers in the rooms?
-Are the beds bunk-beds, or single?
-How much storage do you have?
-What is the WiFi like?
Thanks!
Have you ever dormed before?
I have at college, but not at CP.
I would assume to bring most of the same things though
- shower items
- clothes for the season
- LOTS OF SUNBLOCK lol
- food
- bed items
- fan
My roommate is bringing a minifridge and i'm bringing a microwave. but thats preference haha

They have a whole list of things not to bring, mostly small kitchen appliances/flammable stuff. They charge you a little extra for having an air conditioner, but a fan is a definite must have. Get one of those big box fans and stick it in your window, and your room will be tolerable, it won't be an ice box, but it will be tolerable. In Golds you'll find your basic locker, they aren't huge, but they do the job, you'll have to bring your own lock though...
Most of the beds are bunk beds, especially in the dorms, I've only seen a few single beds here and there in the apartments, on beds, bring a mattress pad and sheets, the more layers you can put between you and the plastic matress the happier you'll be. Not a lot of storage, just stash stuff under the bed or in your locker, and good luck on wifi, it's spotty at the best of times...I just go find a quiet place in town, like Borders or Mcdonalds and do everything at once.

i don't believe that there are closets in Golds...i don't really remember though. a good person to ask would be Chelsea Chamblee...she lived there last year.

Her room is the only one I've ever been in in Golds, and only once or twice at that...and I'm pretty sure you're right, just the lockers...

what i suggest you do is look on jobs.cedarpoint.com for a list of stuff to bring there is a housing list in there some where i would not bring anything of value and bring a lock for your closets the closets are like high school lockers i lived in bayside last season and it was hot in there i suggest you ask your roomies to split the cost of a air conditioner and the cost of the power use they will not allow you to put the ac in your bedroom thats why i also suggest a fan to blow the ac in to the bedrooms and cedar point will install the unit for you
