What should I do about sickness of coasters?

I get more sick than i use to myself. I use to not be like this but i guess getting older has something to do with this. My x fiance had it worse than i do. She just ended up popping motion sickness pills when we got to the park. Althought i dont remember the name of the pills she would take.

Or Oxycontin. ;)

Does any of that medicine make you tired or any weird symptoms?

^Don't use oxycontin. It was a joke. Oxycontin is a perscription pain killer; basically heroin in pill form.

Dramamine can cause cause dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth, throat, and nose; thickening of mucus in nose or throat.

Bonine can cause drowsiness and/or dry mouth.

Can always try tetrahydrocannabinol. Does wonders for nausea.

:)

Dramamine causes significant drowsiness for me, but it does the job. I've not tried the "less drowsy" formula, afraid that it might not work as well as the original recipe.

I also take ginger with each meal, as it's supposed to help preempt indigestion. So far, so good, though I doubt I'd fare well on spin-and-pukes.

My brother, who is very prone to motion sickness, said the "less drowsy" Dramamine worked out pretty well for him a couple of years ago. A friend of mine tried the regular stuff about 10 years ago and somehow found himself sleeping (literally) though a lap on Raptor. Needless to say he retired to the car for a while after that.

I've ridden coasters all my life, and the only coaster that makes nauseous is Firehawk. I've ridden it on two different days, and both times it has made me feel sick enough that I didn't enjoy the rest of the day.

Please remain in your seat until the ride comes to a complete and final stop.

^Suggestion: Stop riding Firehawk. From my experience, Firhawk rides have varied, however I'm young, and not yet prone to coaster sickness. :) Don't worry about it. Firehawk is an extremely intense ride, and nothing can prepare you for it.

My mom on the other hand, she blacked out on the Italian Job, and she said she got really sick after that. lol. :)
