Speaking as someone who had to keep track of all the downtime for the season I can tell you that you'd be surprised at which ride was actually down the longest. Of course it depends on if you're talking only mechanical downtime or operational downtime, or both. To give an example of how many rides go down on the average day, we usually get around 75 calls or so for rides going down. That's for ANY reason, slow guests, mechanical, AFR, transferring, etc. On a bad day we can double that. But of all those calls usually less than five will be for any extended period of time (more than 10 minutes) provided it's not for weather. So what I'm saying is that though your ride might have seemed to go down a lot during the season, it's like that all over the park. (Ok, with the exception of Camp Snoopy, unless of course you make the bus go backward!) As for which ride was actually down the longest for all reasons combined, I'd say Sky Ride would be a good bet due to all it's downtime for wind. But don't forget Millennium's little problem last season which had it down for several days.
Anybody wanna guess what next season's leader in downtime is going to be. Personally I'm voting for Demon Drop.
Cheers,
Jon
