What ride do you hope never comes back?

Race ringer, how come the challenge park hosts must tell folks to put shirts on, even if your supervisor is not there? when I rode it that one night, one of you, I think it was Joe, who told me to get a shirt and I had to walk all the way back to my car, which was parked waaay in the main lot up front.:( I mean, it's not like anything's gonna fall out on someone, because those harnesses are skin-tight around one's chest and it actually chokes the air out of me sometimes, with a rather tight pull to the collar bone....

Its more for the same reason that you have to wear a shirt while riding in the park, so the person after you doesn't have to sit in your sweat.

And to think everyone would sweat sooooo much on a ride, enough to make puddles in a seat...lol!!!111111one...

Although it wasn't a ride (unless you were on a elephant's back), Jungle Larry and his African Safari.

The only amazing thing about the attraction was how they got the elephants to "empty" prior to the show so they wouldn't soil the stage - they did it on command! It was very impressive - to say the least. Absolutely the best animal trick I have ever seen in my entire life!

I never understood the tie-in with the rest of the park and Larry outside of the drive-through animal park competition in Sandusky.

Anyone know what ever happened to old Larry?

Aside from just being a general park policy, the Skyscraper restraints would leave some really nice marks if they were left to rub against bare skin the entire ride. I ended up with some nasty marks from time to time with two layers of shirts on.

That's the main reason I haven't ridden it yet. Don't mind going upside down, even at 200' in the air; it's the shoulder burns and pain for the rest of the day I can do without. I don't ride Chaos anymore for the same reason.

I can tell it's a looong off-season when threads start to get like this, other than the lost Jungle Larry posts, people's breasts, and everyone wishing that DT was torn down over and over again, cuz it's NOT gonna be torn down, it WILL sit in that corner of the park till the day we die......:)

By the way, it you all think the "shoot the rapids" was such a blast, try going white water rafting!

Bear in mind that most of my Skyscraper rides were slightly longer than your average ride... A normal ride cycle is actually quite comfortable.

Not sure the exact name but the slide that was I think off the main midway. You sat on a mat and went down. Such a stupid ride or slide.

Unfortunately, Mean Streak will not be knocked down because it is still "too new" to be demolished.

They need to knock CCMR down.

Not necessarily the most valid argument. Cedar Fair knocked down Hercules at Dorney Park in 2003, when the coaster was three years younger than MS is currently. (Not that the rides are equivalent; I never got to ride Hercules, but I hear it was in much worse shape than MS is now.)

You didn't miss out, trust me.

Why the hell would you knock down Mine Ride? Kids love that ride.

^It breaks down constantly and plus, iron dragon is so much better. Every time I rode it, it would always break down.

Oh, well those are all totally rational reasons! Tear it down then!

A few of my friends were saying to tear down WildCat. I told them don't be ridiculous! That one coaster brings more people than most carne rides do.
