Xtreme Trampolines.
Bite your tongue. Not only was that ride amazing, it offered the most inversions in the park, was more fun than iron dragon, and offered views of girls from soak city jumping on trampolines (note, that is not always a good thing)
Sorry, Iladnar, but you can get the best view of soak city from the top of Skescraper, more than any of everything! Plus you get to glance at yourself in the mirror at 'scraper's platform!!
For me, it's a tie between the Mill Race and Swan Boats, both were a waste of space and time in line.
How 'bout Shoot the Rapids? It used water directly from a retention pond that was nasty and smelly. Because of it, slime developed on the crew walks on the lift hills. I remember working it during its the last season. It had two drops on the final hill and we had to position an employee between the two hills because boats regularly got stuck between the two. I remember slipping on the slimmy crew walks on that hill. My shoes always got soaked on that ride - had to put them in the window of my room for them to dry out by the next day - or at least I hoped they would. This was a Cedar Point designed and build ride that was very labor intensive to work.

I don't understand the hate for the Swan Boats. They're freakin' peddle boats, the most benign attraction possible. A lot of people clearly liked them. They've found a good home at Michigan's Adventure.

While the harnesses on skyscraper separate girls breasts nicely, its not quite the same as a girl on a trampoline.
Now, Bill, Shoot-the-Rapids wasn't all bad. I worked it two summers in the late 70's. No doubt, the boat puller position between the two hills was a pain. However, you had to love the tower position (except on a windy cold day). Great views of the lake, Frontier Town, even Gemini. Oh, and the cute sweeperetts (sp?)!
Unfortunately, I only worked the Rapids 1-2 days per week so I never got to work the tower. I remember load, unload, crowd control, boat pull, and working out in the middle of nowhere telling people not to rock or lean the boat.

I would have to say either vertiGO orthe swan boats. I had the chance to ride vertiGO and it was lame!
ask me for my facebook.
The swan boats were an excellent attraction to add to Michigan adventure, if your lucky you might see one leave the dock once every 3 days, and if your luckier you get to see an employee head out to pull it back in cause the people realize how much work it is to peddle the boat. The luckest people get to see a huge person get in and almost tip it, then wonder why it only goes in a circle.
Oh its not a ride, but I would like to see the Firewater show and "lazer" show go bye bye, its major lame.
Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

I'll have to agree with that assessment.
And, no, Randall. The Trampolines were equivalent to the 8th circle of Hell.
Since you all are on the topic of breasts, I'll just join in then. When I ride Skyscraper, those "comfy" straps pull mine apart like nothing else! I am always the one girl that, when ever me and my friend or sister go up to ride it, you ride hosts are always telling me to put a shirt on over my bathing suit top. I still remember that one night when I came up and you told me to put on a shirt and we left the park and came back a while later with a tank top on....:)
Great posts. I think we should have a whole thread about nothing but breasts at the Point. Or come to think of it, maybe two . . .

Yes, Miss Maverick. Please go into more detail . . . and post slowly. ;)

Too bad that happened about a jillion times this year, otherwise I would have remembered you. I always waited for someone to randomly ask me if I was from PointBuzz, but it never happened. I had a few people who knew who I was from TPOL, but never PB. Oh well.
To be fair, none of the guys usually wanted to ask girls to put a shirt on. :)
Of course, there were a few exceptions.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Bre - here is the only picture of shoot-the-rapids that I have. http://s232.photobucket.com/albums/ee76/spitnsunshine/img453.jpg
