Have you gotten your contract yet? If you did, there's some information in it which you should read. There's an orange pamphlet that is called "Welcome News", in it there is a section called "money". I quote, Employees will be paid every 2 weeks. Please come prepared to pay for cafeteria meals, and other necessities for a period of 21 days. There's more info in it, you can also check out the CP website. Hope this helps.

I would personally recommend at least $300.00 to 400.00 if you are planning for 2 people. It also highly depends on how much daily spending you allow until you get your first check. My recommendation for a daily spending limit before your first check would be about $8.00/day.

yeah 300 to 400 would be probably be good i brought 120 for just myself last summer and ran really short. Managing your money is key.

If you direct deposited your tax refunds, your stimulus check will be in your account may 3rd, may 9th or may 16th (depending on the last 2 digits of your social)...That thing is saving me because I dont really have much to bring with me...

Just manage your money and eat cheap for the first couple of weeks (if Louie's still does the 25 cent hot dogs on tuesdays take advantage of it haha) and dont blow it all at the bar either (I know alot of people who have done this)

They recomend taking between $200 - $400 per person, although $400 seems a lot for 1 person for just 3 weeks...

i'm not going to have that much money with me, i'll just have my food money

You can never have too much money in April(work crew) or May. These are about the only times when you have plenty of free time. All it takes is a couple good nights at Louie's, and your broke for the next 2 weeks. So I agree with the $400-500 idea. This is also the important time to meet people. And you don't want to get stuck saying ' I'm sorry but I can't go because of money'. It's these friends you make which will get you through the hard times during your season.

^You couldn't have said it any better, the friends that you make during the first half of the seasons, will become your closest friends during the season. Cedar Point employees are like family, and there will always be someone there to help you through the toughest times.
