What is the deal with the Japanese??

First, I am planning on going to Japan to ride it.

Keep in mind that Millennium Force is and always will be the first.

Dispatch Master, This is Transport one! I'm losing control, I'm losing control!
Steel Dragon isn't a giga-coaster. On Extreme Rides 2000 they showed some men painting the track and it was more like Magnum's then MF's. And plus they can still say that MF is the tallest rollercoaster in America!!

Welcome back Raptor riders, how was your flight?
right on Shorti443!! After all, it is
America's Rollercoast!!!!
Just because the track doesn't look the same doesn't mean the coaster isn't a "giga." The name was coined to describe any coaster over 300 feet. Just because it isn't an *Intamin* giga doesn't mean it isn't a giga.

Morgan is doing the Steel Dragon ride, the makers of Steel Force at Dorney Park, and if SF is a hyper (which most people say it is) then why can't SD be a giga?

I was wondering about the cars on SROS having "Intamin Mega Coaster" plaques on them. Mega coaster...hmm......heh.

To answer the original question, it has nothing to do with bragging rights or records. While it might come as a shock to some people, the United States is hardly the center of the universe. Japan is a hugely populated country, about half the population of the US. Like any park in the US, Spaland wants butts in the park.

I must have closed or nuked a dozen threads on CoasterBuzz talking about how Steel Dragon will "suck" and it "can't be better" than Millennium Force. If Morgan's engineering is sound, I'd bet that it will be a better coaster. Who cares?

If I had a way to get over there you had better bet I'd ride their new coaster:) I'd ride the other ones too.

You can fool others, but nothing you do is hidden from God.
JESUS rules :) :)
In all seriousness, I would love to ride this coaster, but the layout doesn't seem very interesting to me. I am a bigger fan of positive g's, and sweeping turns , like on MF, but who cares? Isn't it great when we have 2 coasters over 300 ft?!??!?
Don't you mean 200 ft.?
I think he meant over 300ft for MF and SD.
Okay I thought he meant "we" as CP.
