What is it like?

I was just wondering what a season at The Point is like as an employee. I have wanted to work there forever, but just haven't had the time. I come up there every year and spend a couple days with my family in Norwalk (15 min south of CP). I enjoy meeting people and what an ideal place to make new friends and spend a summer at the greatest amusement park in the world! My cousin is a lifeguard at Soak City this summer. Any replies are welcomed. Hope all of you have a great time at CP and you guys are appreciated.

Hey, y'all,

I worked at CP the summer 0f 1977. Ticket Taker.

Loved it...what job could be better for someone that loves amusement parks?? Free admission, on off time, we were usually riding the rides, had cheap meals and accommodations (at the time, I was sharing a room with four other girls, we paid $4.00 each a week for rent--try finding rent at that price nowadays!!). Made good friends...had great times.

AHHHH, that was fun. One of the best jobs I've ever had.

It can be very tiring working all those hours weeke after week, but in the end it is worth it. At some point everyone has their bad days.
