What is it like?

Working at Cedar Point Amusement Park? I always pictured having friends and hanging out with them on the weekends riding rides and having a good time. Also, I put my application in a few weeks ago and Food Services contacted me I finished my phone interview and now have to do a Skype interview? Is this a good part of CP to get into?

It all depends on the type of mind set you go into it with. If you go in thinking the job will be horrible or it's going to suck, then it will. But if you go in thinking it will be fun and you will meet new people, you will have fun and the summer won't feel like work at all. The whole weekends thing though, you probably won;t have an actual weekend, more like a day off or a couple days off in a week scattered around. it all really depends on where you work and how many people are in your crew. Any part of the park is good into, as long as you work hard and show that you want to be there and willing to go the extra bit.

11 years.

I couldn't have said it better myself. If you listen to the negativity on the internet (whether it is true or not) you will go into the park expecting a terrible time and it will probably happen.
But one thing, you won't be off on weekends if you work in foods, i can almost promise that. You'll probably get one day off a week. If you have an awesome group of people to work with you'll actually look forward to going to work.
Make the best of it!
