What is housing like

I MAY be working there this summer (still waiting for my email) but if i decied to work whre shall I stay the apts or dorms i do not have a car... how far (walking wise) is the apts from the park... or the dorms from the park... which one is better? is there cable? internet? should i bring my laptop? tv?
