What IS a fat person to do?

sieve72, you forgot a key quote in the credibility of your story. From the web site you referenced, part of the Giant Wheel story:

"Ah, but look out! It's time for another unsubstantiated ghost story!"

Notice "unsubstantiated".

Well, I worked at the park for several years (not as a seasonal) and my guess is that if it had happened I would have heard about it. I am not saying it is impossible but I would sooner believe that the Magnum really IS sinking.

A position is a matter of opinion. Reasonable people can hold different opinions. For example, I stand in favor of fish tacos. That's a position.

Statements regarding matters of fact are either correct or they are wrong. Dubious sources might make incorrect statements regarding matters of fact, and it is our job as consumers to separate fact from fiction.

It's pretty clear that jeffharp's tour site lists these as unsubstantiated ghost stories, not statements of fact.

On the other hand, if you really believe these stories are true, you should also know that Atkins is sponsoring CoasterCon this year.

Finally, getting all hissy that someone called you on relaying a ghost story as fact is probably not the best way to win friends and influence people.

Pete- thank you for telling me that my facts were just ghost stories. When I was reading that website I did not see that they were just ghost stories. I should of been more careful when I posted the things i've posted on this site and i'm sorry on my last post i sounded a true class ass hole. I will never sound that way in the future, i'm sorry everybody. Also, i now know not to trust what you hear or see b/c alot of the times its false. You should only believe what you know and what you hear from people....sometimes. Thank you again Pete, Brian, Cheif, Jeff, Currently Down an Mr. Scott (in no particular order).
