CP Lifer as of 2012;
09' - TTD/Sweeps/PoTo
10' - TTD
11' - Castaway Bay: TL
12' - Matterhorn Triangle: TL
13' - Corkscrew: Co-TL

you now have to take a housing training class but no tests. it doesn't matter how long you've been working there, you still have to and thats 1 thing that sucked. and there's 1 other traing class everyone had to take.

those are prob. the only things that have changed. oh and ride ops now have new uniforms and they look a lot better than the old.

Cedar Fair continues to improve their parks all the time, and Cedar Point looks great this season. I've moved to the back of the park this season, and I have to say I really like it there. The walk is long from the front to the back, but it's good excersize. As far as I'm concerned, I'm very happy working at Cedar Point, and more than likely, I'll return next year. As for all the new training, it's not that bad, and it's in a comfortable location.

The uniforms look AWFUL. Its like the shirts are designed for a body type that just doesn't exist. The namtags are stupid. "First year of service", "3 years of service" who cares? It was way more interesting seeing where everyone was from. I'm really interested to find out how many employees quit towards the end of july when its starts getting super hot and there isn't a bonus to keep them around.

I agree that having where everyone was from was much better on the nametags than the years of service thing. It was much more interesting and more likely to spark a conversation. Hopefully they'll switch back for next year.

^^Yeah, well, look at it this way...now you already have an ice-breaker with a ride op to ask where are they from?

I was surprised by how many "1st year" people I saw! Just a few weeks into the season some first year people were really on their game and fooled me into thinking this wasn't their first season!

the new nametags for the lifeguards are different this year i like them but don't like them.the old ones you could put your ellis pins on them and show people the accomplishments that you have earned.sorry guys i do like the old ones a little more but thats me lol

i have just quit and you guys dont want to work here at all !!!!!

I noticed the new tags as well. I guess they don't want to have to explain why, in a pretty lousy economy, all of their help comes from Mumbai or some unpronounceable foreign location.

And "sit down, fasten seatbelt, pull down lapbar" isn't easy?

I'd challenge that no seasonal at any ride in the park knows as much about their ride as a site controller knows about Ripcord.
