WHAT HAPPENED?

Of course I knew it was a joke, that's why I put the: ;). To add to that, I like some of my rides really smooth, and some a little bumpy. Wicked Twister isn't a coaster I'd want bumpy, which I havn't had to experience yet, fortunately.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Well, today I had the pleasure of riding both of Ohio's impulse coasters in the same day. WT is definately a more intense ride than Steel Venom at Geauga Lake, but I'd say they rate about the same in smoothness. I think that perhaps WT seems rough due to it's intensity. The g-forces can be fairly strong, but I don't consider that to be the same thing as being rough. I really don't think it's changed much at all since it opened.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Is there an explaination for all the problems Wicked Twister has been having latly or is CP keeping quiet? Because it shocks me how the ride had problems in 2002, then ran nearly perfect in 2003, and now is having a lot of down time this year in 2004.

It's an Intamin. There's your explaination. ; )

1. i was at CP for 4 days and it was down all 4

2. NEVER CURSE INTAMIN

Maybe there was a bad wheel, that can make the ride bumpy

Wicked Twister 2003

WT has had some issues this season. the roughness might have been caused by a bad wheel maybe? I know WT was down opening weekend due to electrical issues from the surge they had..

Can anybody side on this one now? Unless they decide to not change the wheels the days I was there (Aug. 10, Oct. 24, May 9, Jun. 22) which is unlikly.

I find it odd how I'm the only one who thinks this.

I always sit in the back of the train if that makes a difference.

That wins for the most moronic post off the summer. Don't curse the company who's coasters eat track, shoot oil and rubber at people, can't fit half of America and still keep building the same sky high garbage?

Fastball, LOL, so true, so true, but there rides are still a ton of fun. :}

Looking at the top 10 list of steel coasters, the Switzerland people know how to make roller coasters (and chocolate :))

Don't you mean last summer? That is what happens when you resurrect old threads/topics. ;)

I think the ride is perfectly fine...

when it's running.
