because I snagged my gig at Mount Union

By no means am I an OG, but turns out 2014 was quite sometime ago. I stopped participating through the years that I actually worked at the park (8 seasons). But all this time, I've seen your name Kevin and had no clue that you worked at the university that I attended. Who knows, maybe we actually have met each other at some point.

I’m here, sometimes.

For the last few years, I transitioned more from coasters to music festivals, concerts and collecting mechanical watches.

I’m hoping to re-introduce season passes and coasters into my summers again, I’ll just have to plan around metal festivals.

I think the increase of amusement-park-related social media creators diversifies where people get their information from. Same with seeing peoples' opinions on topics. I still like reading pointbuzz forums but I'm not a big poster any more.

"Creator" is the most meaningless term ever spoken. It's the amateur version of cable news, people giving opinions to fill time. It's low effort to make and equally low quality.

And that's what much of YouTube has become. So many "explainers" who lift video from other people or fill it with Storyblocks and call it original. Boring.

I know through Facebook Shawn Meyer has been very busy in other aspects of life work and I believe a wedding to plan. I'm not an OG but I'm still around but have also just been busy. One of my kids got married and are now house hunting and I have a parent that needs more help than previously.
