What happened to Monty Jasper?

Jeff more than likely edited it or one of the moderators did so. And post the deleted info I have noticed is a good way to tick off jeff or the other moderators.

Some one help me i'm in denial about Project 2003.

Nah, I've seen that happen before, one time it happened to Jeff himself. I don't know what causes it, but I doubt it was the moderators. Generally, they delete threads...opening the threads back up after they have been deleted or closed is a bad idea.

Andy brings up a good point regarding possible lines/wait for #16. I purposely avoided MF early on because I wasn't about to stand in a 3+ hour line to ride it. I won't wait that long for ANY coaster.

Instead, I'll spend my time riding the other coasters in the park. Afterall, #16 isn't going to go away, and eventually the "newness" will wear off. I will take advantage of JC ERT and Freeway, if available.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

My sons and I waited 3 hours for MF the first time we rode it. I haven't waited more than 90 minutes since, and that was only when we were at the park with family from out of town. With season passes we are rarely at the park for more than 3 hours at a time. Now I ride MF more often before Memorial Day and after Labor Day than I do in between. On Sundays during HW's I rarely waited more than 30 minutes. I'll wait in line for whatever it takes for the first ride and then we'll go from there. I imagine I'll be in line at MF, Magnum and Raptor with Andy and OldCPer most of the time. That is, if there are any lines.
My "maximum waiting time" varies depending on the situation.

If I'm at the park with my wife and two kids (42" and 36" last year) I will only ride walk-on coasters that are for tall people only, and even then, rarely. I'd rather spend the time with them. I may ride during the kids' nap time, but even then I won't wait for more than 10-15 minutes, as time is of the essence.

If I'm at the park with a friend who goes infrequently, I let him/her call the shots, though I may try to talk said friend out of very long waits. Heck, I even waited 45 minutes for Mean Streak in such a situation. After all, I'll be back.

When I'm on a business trip, and have a half-day at a new park, I'm likely to wait longer for the better coasters since I'm unlikely to be back real soon. For example, I would have waited as long as it took to ride Xcelerator and Ghostrider at KBF this past Fall. On the other hand, I passed on Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris in September, as the waits were 1.5 hours---seeing the Haunted Mansion in French was more fun. :)

Next year, I will try to make a few midweek May trips to get serious riding in. The first of those, I am likely to wait for #16 for up to a few hours, just to get it over with. Other rides will depend on the lines it generates during those visits.
