I do not understand why select facts or observations could not be officially made by the park, and I wish they would.

They've held it out long enough. I'm just irritated now.

That free publicity is slowly running out as more and more people, like me, just don't care anymore. I return every so often to check for an update, but that's where it ends. I'm no longer having fun guessing. What's there left to guess anyway? Where the lines will be? We've discussed every possible aspect of the ride, in quite some detail at that. They've held it out long enough. I'm just irritated now.

I feel the same way to Anon, I almost feel as if we are being "played" by the Point. They enjoy watching us all post here and other places across the web, they enjoy the news choppers flying over every other week trying to get the scoop. As for me,I have quit looking at their website and have almost quit reading this board since it has become just a lot of petty bickering among users and endless, pointless speculation.
I just don't want to give CP the satisfaction anymore, when it's on the news and they say what it is,that'll be just fine. I'll remember all of this when I'm in the park next year too, I'll remember how long they strung us all along when it comes time to buy food or drink or play games in the park or to buy tickets at full price.
Its not even like they've been releasing news release after news release, teasing us along. All they've done is point some webcams at the thing, and say they're building a new thrill ride. How is that manipulative?
No, if you're angry with CP for your spending so much time talking about this ride, then the blame lies entirely and solely on yourself.

I suspect that he has made many construction enties, and as soon as the ride is announced, they will be posted. They will all be after the fact, but it's still info about the construction. I suspect the same with the construction photos.
Yeah, I'm hoping for the same thing. I have found Monty's posts/diary quite interesting.
I am however annoyed and have lost interest in the contruction of this ride. I don't feel the need to check up on the web cams as often, I see less and less interesting info on this board, due to the fact that we've done a pretty good job of picking this thing a part and nailing it right on the head. I dunno, I've just lost the interest to speculate, not to say that anyone else should stop, just sayin that I've gotten bored with the situation. I'm just excited to ride the thing now. Hopefully the lines won't be too long. If so then I'll be doing everyone a favor by stepping over to Millie's line and letting all the hardcores spend a 1/4 of a day to ride #16. Would any of you actually wait 6 hours to ride #16, or any ride for that matter? If not, what's the most you'd wait? Just curious. But enough with my useless post. Carry on with business as usual.
Peace I'm Out
