After the park closes, or on days off...what are people normally doing?

It all depends on who you are hanging out with and what you want to do. Lots of people choose to go to Louies and drink and dance and socialize! People hang out in their dorms outside at Commons in their apartments. Some people go and explore Sandusky and visit the bowling alleys and put put! There is the movie theater and the tiny mall!! Ummm... Diana's and Steak and Shake are also hot spots. Buffalo Wild Wings is always fun!! Meijer is tons of fun at three in the morning!! Almost too much fun!! Haha!! Days off lots of people like to explore the coolest amusement park in the world! I always did!! I loved riding all the rides and visiting all my friends!! So yep it just all depends on what you want to do!! There really is lots to do! Sleeping is always a good thing!! U can get really really exhausted!! Gotta go class starts soon!! Hope that will give u an idea! talk to ya later!

A few good places to check out what's "officially" going on are the bulletin boards next to Wardrobe and the Post Office at Cedars. That's where all the employee events sponsored by the park are advertised -- trips, ride nights, cookouts, movies, dances, etc. etc. etc. A ton of people go to these events and they are advertised all over the place, so you will be able to know what, when and where these things are, get involved and meet a lot of people for sure.

As well, if you're on a cool crew, you'll probably end up planning things to do with them just to hang out and get to know one another better. Or, you can just plan your own fun and invite who you want...it's pretty much up to you and what you think is a good time.

The park management plans alot of stuff for employees as Lee has rather adroitly mentioned. In my day they had volleyball tourneys and weekly employee dances featuring local bands (some of whom should have gone back to the garage they started in), .50$ cans of beer, and lots of parties. There are lots of things to do even if you are working 60 hour weeks. Sandusky is not a hot spot but some of the stuff in the area can be really fun; take the ferry accross the bay once in awhile and you dont have to take drugs/beer to enjoy all the neat stuff. If you cant find something to do at CP,choose another line of work!
