There are way better sub shops, like any gas station sub for example....
What Cedar Point needs is the world's first in-park....

A Sheetz in the park? Hell yes!

I'm on the Chipotle bandwagon. Or an all day breakfast other than just in the Breakers (Perkins)

Thats what Ide like to see are some really good subs or hoagies. Ide prefer something unique, but I do really like Penn Station subs...
YES! Penn Station is the best! The cookies, fries, and lemonade are the perfect meal for a meal at an amusement park.
However, I wouldn't be opposed of a chipotle either. I've been wanting that since I was in high school :)
I thinking it will not be a Chipotle since Chuckwagon Inn is just across the path and they are selling their version of a design your own burrito. I am kinda pulling for a chicken joint like Mrs Knott's.

Mrs. Knotts Chicken Plantation?
It is across from Lusty Lill's
It's just a little west, like at Knotts Berry Farm in California. Heard it was really good chicken.
Tony alluded to it being something from the park's history...
I vote...
BERARDI'S!
I think that would be amazing!
^^^ Voted for Berardis back in January on the thread announcing Chick Fail A not returning.... (Quoted the news release about the history of the park in the News Forum)
I think it will be fried chicken. Chicken Patio and Chicken Plantation are both in the park's history. Barardi's was mostly known for their fries, CP's fresh cut fries are just like Barardi's so I don't see that happening at all.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

"I'd" is the contraction for "I would." I would prefer something unique...
Good grammar and correct spelling makes you easier to understand.
By the way, I agree with your thought.
I always adore the grammar police on the internet :) I understand correcting someone when they misspell every other word to such a degree that you can't decipher what they have written. Or, maybe sometimes people are in a hurry at work while typing and make a simple mistake(which was the case here). I mean, seriously? Relax, and don't be so anal. But I digress, and appreciate that you agree with me.
I'm excited about the announcement of Frontier Inn. Sounds like they'll have more to offer than Chik-fil-a did. Plus with everything that Tony showed on the Power point presentation, it will be a huge upgrade. Anyone else going to give Frontier Inn a shot in 2016?
Love the idea of the Frontier Inn. My only hope is that they don't use peanut frying oil at that location. As someone with a nut allergy, the peanut oil use seriously limits my options. I know I can't eat at Coasters or get the CP fries because of it.
I'm definitely looking forward to the Frontier Inn, all the options sound like it will be a better fit for the park than CFA was
2015 - Ride Host: Shoot the Rapids 2016 - Team Leader: Ripcord/Challenge Golf 2017 - Supervisor: Thunder Canyon 2018 - Supervisor: Camp Snoopy 2019 - Supervisor: Power Tower
It does sound look a nice upgrade, and I'm sure it will be open on Sundays! Hopefully the prices are reasonable...
I don't care about reasonable pricing, as that's mostly subjective.
I just hope that's it's quality food with properly trained and supervised staff.
That right there would make it better than any option inside the park.
New for 2024- Wicked Twister Plus
It does sound good, I'll definitely give it a try with my all season dining plan. We like chicken, so having more of that around makes US happy! I never visited(or tasted) CFA, but always noticed a crowd out the door. I suspect ample seating will be an issue, as with other sit-down(indoor) eateries. I'm like a few others, I go to CP for rides, entertainment & value(of season pass). I added the meal plan for convenience(food in our belly), not culinary masterpieces. If it tastes amazing-even better IMO. I always pack additional (healthier) food in our cooler that suits our personal tastes, along with some refreshing(and cheaper) adult beverages!
Keep passing the fun along!
The new menu sounds promising, although I hope they have some things there that aren't fried. I would have liked to see some side dishes other than tater tots and fries as well. Don't get me wrong, I love fried food and understand that it is a necessity at an amusement park, I'd just like to see some more options at CP when it comes to food choices. I understand that a hand made chicken tender at Frontier Inn should be way more tasty than one from a regular counter, but it is still a fried piece of chicken. Im still hoping that one day we can have BBQ and/or Rotisserie Chicken with vegetable sides etc...
