I think that was this year's grill, right? Not the original where Millennium Force is now.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
It would be a natural spot for a food location, especially for BBQ. One of the great things about Dollywood and Silver Dollar City is how the food is showcased as something special with the big skillets sizzling away with peppers and onions along with the steak and sausages. It's hard to walk by without wanting to try something.
Didn't the blacksmith shop have a 50% sale on closing day? Would they have been trying to clear things out in anticipation of coverting the building over to a food venue?

Yes. Cedar Point tweeted that photo on July 4.
Possibly crazy speculation here, but that could be a reason why about a month or so ago, Tony or Jason tweeted about getting excited about the results of a meeting regarding Frontier Trail. Although that would mean one less craft, which is what that area really is, and it could've just been an end of season sale.

I think a BBQ would be really good over there. BBQ food is really good summer food and the theming of that area makes it a perfect fit.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but the other day one fan page said the final brake Rubin of Valravn was being installed and it got me thinking that I would like to see reubens sold in the park. I would love to be able to enjoy a reuben somewhere in the park. I don't think there is anyplace that sells them at the moment.

I'd love to see an in park BBQ location. Ribs, chicken, beef brisket, pulled pork, all the sides and corn bread.

I agree a good quality bbq place would be great. Something that smells great as you walk by. Maybe in the old chick filet place or on the trail somewhere. But maybe with famous Dave's on site they don't want to do that.

You know one place that would be Ideal that nobody has brought up yet is the Old Carolina. Anyone ever heard of them? They're based out of Canton, Ohio.
A BBQ place sounds like a good option, I would like to have some additional non-fried chicken choices at CP and either BBQ or Rotisserie chicken would be great.
I want to see a New Orleans style restaurant with traditional/creole style food. I think it'll go nicely on the trail, right where Shoot the Rapids is. Heck, why not just bring back Paddlewheel, keep it docked, and transform it into part of the restaurant for nice themed seating.
Id love to see CookOut added to the park lineup! Great cheap food.

Cheek them out! A southern company, $5 trays with Hamburger 2sides and large drink. It would most likely be more cause its in the park but its still cheap.
