I used to like CP's pizza but something is different about it from years ago.Agreed upon not outrageously priced so we can all eat more in the park!
The dough was changed from one frozen type to a cheaper frozen type in 2009.
Actually the pizza dough was upgraded in 2009, not downgraded. I remember the guy who used to be food service director talking about how they upgraded the pizza from the cardboard dough to a higher quality dough and the slices would also be bigger.
I would still question his view on "the upgrade" of the dough. CP hasn't made the best food decisions inside the park. So I would compare the upgrade to switching from a mid 90's ford mustang to a new Kia anything.
I realize it would be overly expensive, but I would love if one of the restaurants in Breakers replaced with a Texas Roadhouse. I want a nice, thick, and juicy steak.

Tim Horton's coffee.
Any other coffee then what the park has now would be great. With the exception of the average Starbucks at doughnut time inside the park they use that terrible liquid coffee concentrate....yuck.
I'd like to see a Zoup go up near the park. I don't know if I'd want it in the park because it's already expensive enough. But I go to the Zoup in North Canton all the time.

Fresh cut shoestring fries or ribbon fries. Real Italian sausage and gyros. I am ok with unhealthy food but I can only take so much frozen crappy fries and chicken fingers.

I work in the same industry and have an eye for details. I greatly enjoy most of the park but look for details to improve to make the park better. I am not one that believes the park is the best it can be, I have spent time with CP as well two other CF operations. Overall my view of the company is that it is extremely average in most areas of operation. I voice my opinion get over it.
Oh calm down Mr. Grumpy gills
I was never involved enough to have to get over it, just pointing something out w/ an lol at the end...chiiiillllll

I have had the thought that for Halloweekends -it would be great to have a "Cup of Soup" that would warm you up on the cool chilly evenings (warm your hands and bellies)....I know it's not what people would want in the summer, but in the fall, maybe cooking it outside in a big cast iron pot over a fire/flame. Walking down the Frontier Trail with the scent wafting down...mmmmm.
I would love a BBQ place like the one at Busch Gardens Tampa. That was my favorite meal of the day, even though I had 4 because we had the unlimited meal wristband. I think it was $75 or so, but this would be something I would love to see CP adapt. The layout of all the restaurants at BG were really easy. It was a lunch line type style. You just go through the line and pick what you want. This was a lot easier than going to a place like Pinks, which I waited 20 minutes for one time. Another good place would be a sitdown place that had homecooked type meals. Something like turkey and mashed potatoes, stuff like that. I think a mexican place would be pretty cool too. Something besides burgers and fries would be nice.
I would love it if my local, Sam Covelli (owner of the largest franchise of Panera Bread and O'Charley's restaurants) put one of his restaurants in the park. O'Charley's would be a great sit down restaurant at the park, offering many varieties of food for those who haven't had it before.
I agree that we do lack a good sit down restaurant inside the park. Hopefully the old games building on the Gemini midway is going to be a decent sit down establishment with a very nice view of the midway

Winter in Ohio is not a good time for Mr. Grumpy Gills lol. I hate the cold weather, and miss my pool bar.
Pool bar...the desk in my dorm is a bar. 500 dollars of liquor sitting on it. My personal favorite being my 6th batch bottle of Watershed Distillery Bourbon...
Get a bottle and try it, great stuff
