what do you do when....

ok, CP is only open for the weekends through out may. soooo, what do employees do durring the week when the park is closed? ill be working at hotel breakers.... so does the hotel close durring the week also? what is there to do when the park is closed? just kind of curious. wand what are employee ride nights? i mean, are all the rides open? or just a selec few. how often does it happen... are lines long for that too? sorry, just throwing stupid questions up in the air.

The park is open daily starting May 9th. Its only closed Monday-Thursday during the first week in May. The hotel will be closed during the times the park is closed.

During that week, your manager might have some work for you to do or you will have four days to chill out and meet new people. I think ESD has at least one or two things going on during that week.

Employee ride night is where one (sometimes two or three) featured ride is open after the park closes for employees only to enjoy for themselves. Sometimes they might even throw food into the mix. You will see signs around break areas and such on when these things will take place.

Clean, Clean, and more Cleaning. During the end of the season you could be picked to clean rides (if your in ride operatons). Or you can ask, if you want the hours and money. But most of the time its not to bad unless of course you have to gum bust or power wash...ugh. Some people get to set up for HalloWeekends instead of clean, thats always a fun thing to do as well.

Its an easy 9 to 5, Monday through Thursday. Nothing to difficult. Other then that you just sit around waiting for the weekend to work. I spent most of my time those weeks driving to near by towns and checking out Erie county.:)
