When it rain's, I usually go to the arcade, or eat.. because I'm usually hungry, but take no time to fill up my stomach because I want to get everything in that I can. The main arcade on the midway with the "Kiddie Kingdom" is definately the best one, I think one year I got 700 tickets from one machine, and of course all the other tickets.
Cedar Point is undoubtedly amazing.
Once time we had just been seated at Midway Market when it started to pour. You can imagine the chaos that ensued when everybody ran in to escape the rain and then decided to eat. There were 5 or 6 people deep stacked up across every food station.
The arcade gets it bad when it rains, as well as any shop or building with an overhang!
Some of the best evenings I've ever had at the Point were after an all day rain. It cleared up, the park was slow because nobody came anyway, and the riding was great. Perfect if you're close or have multple days.

See, this is what's wrong with Cedar Fair management. They should have realized months ago that the third and fourth weeks of April were going to be gorgeous, and that the second week of May was going to have occasional rain. Then they could have adjusted their operating calendar accordingly.

Not true! In the annals of Federation history, there are at least four instances of junior grade officers transporting into a hazardous environment and not getting eaten by a Yeti-ish primate or turned into a salt crystal by a silicon-based alien intelligence.
So it could happen...
