What didn't you ride last year?

What rides didn't you get on in 2003 for one reason or another?

I didn't ride Dragster for several reasons. Either it was broke down or the line too long also I must admit I was a little intimidated by it. I must be getting old. I didn't go on TC or Snake River either. I refuse to do the Swans. I think I did most of the flats and all other coasters.

I always find that if a don't ride a ride by July 4th then I don't usually ride it at all that season.

I did get on 35 different coasters last year so I'm not over the hill yet{Getting Close}

Magnum... haven't been on it in 2 years..

Walked the lift a dozen times... but didn't ride it..

Other than that.. Thunder Canyon (haven't since 2001) - Snake River Falls (opening year).

That's about it.. there were alot of others before but now that #1.. I work there and more importantly.. #2.. been taking my daughter there the past few years..

Good topic Tim.. hope all is well with you.. Hope you're coming back this season..

I was intimidated also, so you arent the only one. My first time on TTD, I was shaking so bad but I did it and was glad I did go on it!
Once the ride down got running smoothly, the line went pretty fast.

I didnt go on Corkscrew, I prefer the one at Michigans Adventure. I didnt go on Demon Drop, Power Tower or Woodstocks Express this last year.

TTD; 46 lauches, 1 rollback

I didn't ride Snake River Falls because it was too cold every time I had the oportunity. I also couldn't find a kid to let me ride with them on Junior Gemini.

I rode just about everything other than the water rides (of course I rode WWL, how could I not? But I love it anyway...) and some of the smaller circular / stationary rides. All the coasters (including my first-ever on Junior Gemini and naturally Top Thrill Dragster); everything else was a great go. Didn't do anything outside of the park (such as Challenge Park, Soak City) either, but I left in mid-June, before it really got going out there.

Let's see here.. I didn't ride the turnpike cars, the antique cars, Cedar Downs, calypso, chaos (I hate that ride), swanboats, matterhorn, scrambler, dodgems, witches wheel, monster, paddle wheel excursions, woodstock express, and Jr Gemini

My only regret? Probably Calypso.

That's really inexcusable. ;);) I guess you'll have to come over to check out the speakers on the lift this year. You know, they work fine and everything, but people can't hear them when they're on the ride! You'll have to test ride to see I guess.

Funny.. they seem to work everytime anyone in our shop climbs the ride... :)

I still think I'll pass..

That's the problem though. There's no train going up the lift when those people are climbing it. I'm not saying the speakers don't work at all. They're great for telling the people in the Soak City Lot that they are "ascending to a height of 205 feet," but you're lucky to hear three words of the spiel when you're actually on the train.

They're pretty good at telling people in Lighthouse Point that, as well.
I don't think I've ridden Snake River Falls, Thunder Canyon, and Demon Drop in 2 years. The last time I tried turnpike cars, I felt squished in. I've never been on the Swan Boats, but will have to try them this year at MiA.

I believe I rode just about everything else this year that didn't require a kid

I didn't ride (this year) Demon Drop, Woodstock Express, Corkscrew, Matterhorn, Scrambler, Dodgem, or Paddlewheel Excursions.

I finally did ride Jr. Gemini, though, with a cute little future coaster-fanatic who put her hands up and everything.

Magnum's spiels can't be heard because the lift chain is too loud over the voice. I barely noticed the spiel until recently.
