What Colors? What Name?

You guys are thinking about this way too hard...

Everyone knows that Cedar Point only knows how to paint things in primary colors (and lots of them at that). With Magnum, Corkscrew, and MF nearby, and WT already an Intamin with Yellow track...it sure is gonna be tough for the park! :oD

I really hope that black is a factor in the colors. Maybe if they do the whole thing in black and white, maybe black track and white supports. That would be a cool but simple color scheme. As for the name, im hoping Fury makes it's way to the final name.

Light blue and silver! (thats what i want) but my guess is a somewhate bright orange track and some greenish supports

Ok. Assuming that this ride will break the height barrier (400ft.), and will be probably the most noticable thing from the causeway wouldn't CP want it to look rather nice? I'd love to see it all black but not if it's 400ft. tall. Then it would look kinda weird - at least IMO. Maybe they would but partiotic colors up there, like white on one 1/3, red on next thrd, and blue on the last third. I'm talking about up on the top of the tophat too. I dono what the other colors would be though. I really doubt it would be black though. Too dark...

player the patriotic tophat sounds cool. Would look like one of those popsicles, cant think of the name. Whatever the base color of the tophat was then the rest of the ride could be that color.

Mathyou...the tallest parts of the ride would be the track, which would be black, but smart birds don't sit on track where imminent danger is present so it would still work. If the supports were white, they wouldn't have to worry because it's the same color! :) You never really see birds sitting up very high...do you ever see them on MF, Magnum or Wicked Twister? For some reason they just really like Raptor...maybe because they feel at home and all the food vendors are around. :)

I also think that Ballistic would be a great name for the ride...just like last year. Ballistic is an awesome name.

Even though the idea of patriotic theme sounds good, in another 5-7 years we'll return to the cycle of "Patriotism is so not cool." Think about it, how did you feel about things that we're very patriotic pre 9-11?

Wasn't the reasoning behind Corkscrew's color scheme patriotism? It opened in the nation's bicentennial year.

Interesting point Check It. I never thought of it that way. But I think Cedar Point would theme it to a high action car race, not drugs.
