What Coasters Have Awesome Lighting?

The year magnum opened it had hands down the coolest lights ever. Anyone remember those strobe lights that would race up and down the track? Those were my favorite.

Does power tower still change colors this year? I don't think it did when i went, but i could be wrong.

I agree that has to be one of the best lights on a coaster EV-AR!

back to CP coaster lighting, I always loved Bluestreaks Cheesey lights they are simple but cool.

Um thats a standard spaghetti(sp) coaster, Flight of Fear has that same track layout, but again it is still a sool ride with exagerated support system.

hey mf and wter, on that last pick of power tower, you can see the lights are red white and blue, it has the red and white one on next to each other and the rest of the tower is blue

Phillip, maybe you just have an eye problem.

Actually I have 20/15 vision which is better than most. It looks to me that MF's lights are dim compared to TTD, Power Tower, and Wicked Twister.

I don't think they are any less intense than the other two rides. If you drive by MF's lift when it's lit it looks almost as if the supports themselves are made up of neon lights. I think there may be a difference in perception from a far because there is less surface area on MF's supports versus Dragster's or Wicked Twister's.

Millennium Forces bright and colorful lights take the cake in my opinion. Mean Streak's lights are amazing as well. That's just an awesome looking coaster. Dragster's lights aren't bad, just very, very bright.

Sorry but IMO TTD's lighting is not that great I still like Mean Streak's and MF's lighting a lot better.

I think lighting is a very important part of a ride at night. Though at times I think it would be fun to ride some coasters in total darkness! Anyway... It sounds like Cedar Point has awesome lighting on their rides and I can not wait til I am there June 16th and 17th! Anyone els know if they are going to be there?

I would have to say that Millennium Force has the best lights out of all the rest of the rides. I love the fact that the colors changes and the have so many modes that they can be set to its out of this world.
