Wet MM 09-13
Really cant complain too badly-it is after all the 1st time it rained at CP for me this season, and I really did have a blast!! (Thank goodness for my CP employee raingear-it again kept me bone dry and toasty warm) B/F and I arrived at CP early, met up with some GTTP'ers (and CB'ers)
KickstheSky and can not remember the others ones name-sorry! Mr 2000 himself "graced us" with his presence for a second and for some unknown reason despite the line waiting to get in suddenly he was 1st in line? Saw Coast, who I havent seen since closing day last season, then UPISCECIHKKG (Jeff) shows up (after comfirming that I was right that the beautiful Eclipse I saw pulled over outide of Sandusky was indeed HIM) and shortly there after my PIC Hooper arrives, then Rob. It is time to RIDE! NO Raptor....down...mechanical....crap
So we all head for Banshee. We got front car and got to reride 1x too, there was a HUGE pause over the hill, only a total of 8 on whole train! OK-back to Raptor....no Raptor....still down...crap
So we all decided we would go back to Banshee and see if we could "force" a rollback. My this time I had now met fellow GTTP'ers Jess and Eggs. We all get to Banshee and all sit in the back. We were chanting "rollback" in the station and up the hill and try as we might, no rollback. DARN!
We opted for one more reride...then off to MF.
Here I get to see Raptor Dave, Joe E, CoasterJamin, Richie, Hothitz (on controls-isnt that SCARY??) got 3 (4?)rides on MF (b/f not as scard these times) and I actually rode one of the trips backwards and watched everyone else. That was fun! :) I loved when we got back to the station and Jamin said "how was your ride yellow train and Raptor Jo?" :) Nuf MF-back to Raptor....yes--he was flying!!! :)
Instead of going into long boring details....
Jeff had to get off to eat something during one of our rerides, my b/f only lasted 3 rerides before he was done, of course Hooper and I were still on. I did 8 rerides before I had to eat too.
We all had fries and pizza and got to "talk" (??)
to Mr Skyward. Back to riding. B/F only lasted 2 rides and he was done again...Jeff? Well-he managed at least 7 more rerides and he was done.
(I wont go into details about that-but lets just say I would have LOVED being a ride op with him as a guest at that moment ;)) Hooper and I were not leaving. I only had 12 more rerides and I had my 500. The rain was killin-especially the 1st invert, I had an extra jacket I gave to Hooper but I know he had to be freezing anyway! By the time 500 came I gladly got off Raptor and thought I was going to puke, didnt!! Whobbled my way down the stairs, met Jeff, my b/f, Jess and Eggs in Hotshots, bought the pic-HAD to-I had held up 5 fingers and Hooper held up 2 "o's" so I had to have that pic! I had did what I had come to do-500 on Raptor!! :) :) :) :) :)
We all walked to PT, at this time Magnum was down due to the rain, we were NOT about to get on Banshee again (I had enough upside down-thanks)
it was pouring again so we all went home. I had a ball meeting some new people, seeing some old friends, all the rides were a blast, my b/f definitely thinks I am out of my mind now (his question of the day "how the hell can you ride so many times?" :)) And thanks to him driving home we made it home safe and sound, I was wiped out and HATE driving at night, especially in the rain, and it POURED the entire drive home! ugh :(
UCISEPCJIGOL-you were a blast-told ya my riding partner Hooper was insane!! (although you probably think I am now too!!) :) Are you sure those windows are legal?? ;)
Hooper-as always, another GREAT time-thanks! Its amazing that you too have a horse named Picasso!
