Weight at Cedar Point

Hi! I was just wondering what happens to most people while working at cedar point? A lot of people on the threads are talking about all the food in the cafe and park food and etc. But do you gain weight over the summer? Or do you lose it because of all the walking or whatever?! I was just wondering!! Thanks so much!!
Well this is my first year so i dont know if you gain or lose weight but im really hopin to lose some extra poundage:-D Id think youd end up losing weight as you wont be in your room much cause youll be at work and you wont be able to snack all the time. Plus the extra walking/standing around and the heat will prolly help you sweat off some pounds:-D

In the past, I have put on weight while in holiday in America, so I thought last summer I would have put on a lot. But I didn't, I managed to return home exactly the same weight I was when I left! I was impressed. But I walked around the park a lot for surveys etc, and it was so hot! This year I'm not as worried as last year, as I've shifted some of the excess pounds I've have for... well too long! The heat does help!

It depends on where you work, how active you are, etc. Many people in rides seem to lose a few pounds over the summer being out in the heat and constantly moving. Others (like us office clerks that sit on our butts in air conditioning) tend to put on 1 or 10 pounds. The employee caf. doesn't exactly carry weight watchers if you know what I mean, but they do have some salads and fruit plates that'll probably help keep the extra pounds down.

You can either loose or gain weight while at CP. Last summer while i was up there i ended up losing 45 pounds but i put myself on a pretty strict workout routine of running on the beach and doing push-ups, situps, etc...also the lifeguards have to walk a ton.

Yeah, like ParkOpJon, said it depends on a lot of things...I ended up gaining weight, like a little over 5 pounds, I guess from the junk food I lived off of and exercising my legs for the first time in forever, my skinny self needed those pounds, could use some more too.

Wow Aaron, 45 lbs! I'm impressed! I lost about 10 lbs. last summer from not eating a lot and sweating my butt off during the hot summer days. I'm hoping to lose some more this summer, me and some of my friends plan to work out more so that should help. :)

If you dont bring any money, you will lose weight!
I weighed like 147 last year and Im down to 132 I was a cart man, but 1 thing you will lose weight on is the dippin dot bike. Fear it, it is a pain.

I would imagine that you would stay the same weight when you leave the park. The reason is becuase once you eat your going to burn it all off walking all around the park. I mean the park is pretty huge.

Last season while working in rides I went down 2 sizes by the end of the season! This season I'm starting off the same size as I ended with last season and hope to go down at least one more size. Not that I am fat or anything( currently size 12)-not too bad for a 32 year old mother of 3 who looks 20! :D
