Week4 --2 to go!
Week # 4 wrap up:
High Points:
The weather was stunning Saturday and Sunday but Friday night was alittle chilly-this time I was prepared thanks to my sweats, jersey, and
gloves!
Seeing tons of people I know - (to name a few)
Mel, Dan. Brandon, Jeff, Tim, Jerry, Dave,
HOOPER (ask him about how much fun I had when he was riding and I was on controls!!)
Rob-see-I'm not mad @ you =)
Meeting 3 or 4 more GTTP members
Jeff coming back to our crew
Roommate still MIA!
Did Raptor entrance Sunday morning-one of the CP creatures (the big hairy brown thing) grabbed my stick, sat in the chair and was measuring people when they came thru
that was TOO funny!!
Had to turn away Dracula and the Mummy though since they were definitely too tall and too wide to ride!
Had to call my very first "hold" when I was on controls!!!
Low Points:
Being volunteered to do the midway carousel and Cedar Downs Saturday night-it was HORRID for me-
soooo boring and those guests dont listen worth a poop either (do not run means run-do not rock the horses means rock the horses-remain seated means change horses during the ride---EEEEK)
The one good thing about it was I was changing the speel on the carousel-thanking them for riding Raptor, welcome aboard Magnum-yadda yadda
no one even FLINCHED but I was having fun none the less! When park closed that evening I helped them with gasing up the cadillac cars, meaning I got to drive 5 of them, it was like 12:15am I was wiped out and was having just TOO much fun doing that!
Another 247 miles on my truck
One of the PR guys still NOT meeting me for lunch-
Another 14 hour day Saturday
Buying another CP t-shirt (just what I needed)
Having 2nd thoughts about season passes for next year
Missin my kids, dogs, horse, & own house
Getting into trouble for having my vinyl pants on with the Donatos shirt
Someone snaking my camera
Having to park across the bridge thanks to construction at Commons
Well 4 weeks down 2 to go
Any thoughts of quitting is history, would lose my bonus $$ if I did. I think I can handle 2 more weeks of this----
only if:
Keep getting to do a.m. test rides!
I keep meeting nice people like I have
I get to do speels more often
If they keep me OFF the carousel and Cedar Downs!
