Week 5-ONE MORE (3 days!) TO GO!!

High Points:

Having breakfast with my FAV PR guy
NOT having to work on anything BUT Raptor
Managed to survive my 14 hour Saturday on only 2 hours sleep
Having breakfast with my FAV PR guy
Parties at Bayside (hense the 2 hours sleep)
3 more a.m. test rides
Roommate still MIA
Seeing Hooper again (my partner in crime)
Sneaking him on to the front car
Talking to him when I was on controls
(of course have MUCH more fun riding with him)
Hearing from the love of my life
Seeing Dave, Dave and Dave (yes-3 different Daves)
Seeing Jason and getting a big hug from him
Did I mention having breakfast with my FAV PR guy?

Low Points:

Missin my kids
The weather-28 degrees Saturday night 35mph winds
30 degrees Sunday
yes-people still rode
NO heat in dorm room-5 blankets wasnt even enough
Almost having to work Giant Wheel (ugh)
Driving home last night in snow/ice/hail/rain
Another 247 miles on my truck again
Watching some of my riding buds having a blast
while I worked

One more weekend to go......
it will be bittersweet for me
no more working there---HIGH point
season over til next May--REAL LOW point

remind me again about the bonus $$ I would lose if I quit!!!

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??

As LuvRaptor knows, the only thing that kept me from crying over the end of the season last year was working that awful overgrown swing set in Challenge Park. An enthusiast guest behind the lines really does make for a bittersweet closing day. The up side is the memories. As guests, we look forward to seeing our favorite hosts, and being mentioned in GTTP. As hosts (and I almost forgot) there’s that check that comes in six weeks, the one that has “Magnum Management Corporation” on it.
