Well, the day started off pretty early. I was awake at quarter after 3, and after my route I headed down to Brighton where I met up with my girlfriends mother. We drove down to Sandusky, and were in the park by 9:30.
We headed over to Millennium Force, and waited outside of the line for about 10 minutes. They have made it now so that they check everyone coming into the line, and the oversized guests are asked to check the test seat. Because of that, the rest of the line has to wait while they check the test seat, which is a bunch of garbage because people will join family memebers and what not in line, and nothing can be done about it.
After I got into the queue, I walked right up to the ramp and was on the ride within a few minutes. Blue train. She was kicking some butt. It was an awesome ride.
I saw Tony in line, and we waited by the exit for him. I took another picture of him on the ride(I took one of them on Opening Day.)
After that, all 3 of us walked back to the cars to strip ourselves of extra clothing (oh baby) as it was getting WARM (and NICE!!) out. We walked back into the park where me and my girlfriends mother met up with Andrew while Tony headed over to the marketing office.
I rode Magnum solo. It setup train before I boarded due to slow loading guests throwing their crap on the side of the platform. I still don't agree with the policy of throwing crap on the platform, but whatever.
Magnum was hauling and we came back to hit the readies. I noticed they were clearing the train in front of us. Someone had gotten sick. So after about 10 minutes and a LOT of water they had it cleaned up.
I met back up with the group and Tara joined us, and we all chatted in the shade by the Magnum queue, then headed to Gemini. Racing is fun, although people don't seem to want to slap hands nearly as much as I remember as a kid. They were hitting intervals, and pushing people through really fast. I also saw a smile on the entrance person, which has become a rarity around the park. Then it was back to a front seat ride on Mean Streak with Tara. It's running nicely again.
Then I took some pictures of an area of the park which is rumored to change next season, and we rode White Water Landing. I really do enjoy this ride, but it also takes up FIVE acres of precious land. After that, it was time for a spin on the Antiques. After Antiques, it was time for the Mine Ride. After Mine Ride, we took a look through the Town Hall Museum, and looked at the Gemini banners. I pointed out where I had commercialized it by shemlessly plugging my web site under my name. Bonus points to any pointbuzzer who takes a picture of where I signed. ;)
After that, we headed to the car. We were all starving, and wanted pizza. East of Chicago was the destination, and we spent about an hour off point before returning. We entered through the front, and I rode the Demon Drop. Wish I had $250k to put this thing in my back yard. Not only would it be a fun amusement ride, but I could put all sorts of HAM radio antennas on it. :P
Then it was time for a Raptor ride, back right, as usual. It was almost a walk on. I love Raptor. I wish I could ride it all day long. Unfortunately, we just took the 1 ride, then headed over to Disaster Transport. After a 30 minute wait, we rode. Some girls in our car decided to scream the whole time. I hate that, but whatever people find fun, I guess.
There was talk of taking a 'Chance' on chaos, but I said no, and we rode Wicked Twister instead. Andrew sat that one out. Then we rode Shot side on Power Tower, and Wildcat before walking back to see the goats. The petting farm is pretty cool, and I liked the escape from the hectic part of the park back on Frontier Trail. Then we went up to the observation deck on Thunder Canyon for awhile and talked and rested.
Eventually Andrew and I rode the train, and I got in like for Millennium Force with Tony for last ride of the night while they all did other things. Great last ride on force, even if it was full of bugs! All in all a GREAT day at the park. It was picture perfect weather, and crowds were pretty light most of the day.

Yeah I was there to on the 24. The croweds were pretty light, I was there the 23 to. We got the starlight tickets on the 22 and man when we go to the park. The lot was over half full. Nice trip report :).
