All that I can say is...
FINALLY!!!
All of these months...all those long days surfing the net, checking the progress of my favorite place and the greatest ride in the world.
First things first, MILLENNIUM FORCE is the greatest ride ever constructed. I spotted it 20 miles away on hwy 6 and just started to scream obscenities. Couldn't help it! The things that it does to your body are simply incredible. My hats off to anyone who took any part in the construction and design of this amazing piece of work. I got 4 rides total in the span of a day and a half. Shortest wait was about a half hour on Thursday night. 3 trains most of both days!!!! MF opened when the gates to the park opened at 9, but only the yellow train was running. I heard the anti rollbacks only once. I was over by Coasters and it was still loud! Whenever they took off a train, it was always the red one.
Let me tell you the effect that this ride has on people. Before one of the times we rode, my friend was in a really bad mood. She was really tired and took a nap while a few of us did Ripcord. She was woken up and not too happy. We got in line, the whole time telling us that she didn't really want to ride. At the end of the ride, on the brake run, she had the biggest smile on her face and was going crazy! Every person that I saw get off of the ride was clapping and grinning. It is AMAZING.
Thursday morning... There was a VERY dense fog. Couldn't even see anything on the causeway. It stayed most of the day, even when the sun came out (before then it was overcast so I didn't think about sunscreen and got fried). Let me tell you, Everything (esp. MF) is AWESOME in a fog!
MAGNUM: Just as great as ever. I didn't really feel any roughness. I had my best ride on it ever Thursday morning- no trims on the pretzel...ahh! I didn't see Maggy the seagull but I did see her nest on the tunnel! Got the greatest Hot Shot ever! 6 of my friends all in 1 pic...all doing some crazy stuff.
On Thursday afternoon around 5:00, A train got stoppped on the lift hill near the last tunnel and brake run. It wasn't too high, but after about a half an hour they started walking them down the lift hill. I was getting ready for Ripcord at the time. The guys working for the go-karts on the PA were doing all they could to keep the stopped people entertained.
MEAN STREAK: I've never REALLY thought it was rough. I think that the trains are the problem, at least for me. With all the lateral g's, you really get beat up from side to side. The leg room is a REAL problem, and of course...the trim brake is too. It was closed for a long time early in the day Thursday. The on-ride photo was closed the entire time we were there.
BONEYARD: There is what looks like a light blue sky ride mechanism. Has this always been there?
POWER TOWER: On Wednesday and Thursday the near blue tower (from the line) broke down both days. Oh well. Awesome as ever.
DEMON DROP: Closed all day Wednesday (when I was there) and Thursday (except for Thursday morning.
BREAKERS EXPRESS: This was actually a very nice place! For $60 a night it was a steal!
Rides on everything else were great. Barely a wait for anything, especially when all of the schools left.
At the end of the day, after my last MF ride. I took a really long walk in the park. It was so serene. It seemed like it was just me and the park. The only people that I saw were employees walking towards me. It was so calming. The quiet of night at my favorite place.
Thanks for reading, sorry it was so long, but I could still type a lot more!
See you at the park (coming back next week!!)

I was there the same days you were also. I have to agree with your opinion of MF!!!!! Rode it 4 times and the wait was 1 1/2 hours consistent for me. I am going back in 3 weeks and can't wait to ride that beast again!!!!!
Great Report. It made me mad that the MS Hot Shots booth wasn't open. It wasn't open on Friday either. We would have had a great picture because both of my friends were choking me.
