I have a bunch of people coming up from my college to go on wednesday. This really is the ONLY day we can all possibly go. Are we idiots? (There is a less than favorable forecast). I mean, it is going to rain, but it doesnt look like it will all day. Lol i really just want someone to say that we aren't completely out of our minds. Thanks everyone!

The guys on TV, you know the ones who have degrees in meteorology, have a hard time predicting the weather. We aren't going to do much better.

Your best bet is to get forecasts from as many different sources as you can. Then make your own decision based on that information rather than trusting just one weather source.

ha well. I have. It doesn't look great. But we are just hoping for short periods of rain and a surely empty park.

I have been to plenty of parks on rainy days and had great times. Even though there is no sun bring your shades to block your eyes from rain drops on the rides. Bring extra cloths and keep them in a locker or your car. Take extra socks and shoes if you can, if the rain does break you'll be doing your self a big favor.

That is what I wanted to hear :) I think we will be fine. Thanks.

I would definately say go! :) Whether it be a rainy or a sunny day, any day at CP is a good day! Especially if it's your only chance to go. And it's actually good news if it will be raining part of the day. Because that means less crowds and A LOT of walk on rides when the rain lets up! I heard from others on here though if you are going to ride Millenium in the rain bring sun glasses and a hoodie. Tighten up your hoodie real good so that your face is barely showing, and then put on the sun glasses so your eyes are protected. I guess the rain is pretty brutal when your on MF and it's coming down slightly hard. Have fun! :)

"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"

one year it started to rain, and we left to go to sandusky to get lunch, and we came back and the park was totally empty. It'll be good, don't worry.

Yeah. Millennium + arms up = painful. :)

I did that twice on Sunday. Would've been three times, but we left because they were having mechanical problems.

If you don't mind looking a bit silly, Meijer on 250 has plenty of full body rainsuits to choose from... They were great for the deluge on Sunday morning, and great for more than a few laughs :)

Many people had things like that, I indeed noticed that. I should've brought/bought something better than I had because I was left soaked. :)

I invested 19 bucks in one of the rain suits... I have it in my trunk now, in case I get to the park on another completely rainy day. It even has large pockets that snap to hold my loose articles in :)

It makes a world of difference over a poncho, and other than your shoes, leaves you really dry! (did I mention you look quite dorky though?)
