Weak Tummies?

Here is a question for all you ride ops:

"HOW do you handle all the vomit?"

Everytime that I have been there this season (6 times) at least ONE ride that I was waiting on had been puked on. I have a terribly weak tummy and could not clean up someone elses vomit without contributing some of my own. Just wondering...

Well, after you do it for about a year, you just get used to it. Heck, the first time I had to clean it I almost puke myself. But after you rinse down the car it was easy to do.

There is a kitty-litter type stuff called oil dry you dump on it, that absorbs all the liquid, but smells WORSE! Then it sweeps up pretty easily. MRO's right, you get used to it. Better to get it out of the way than have to look at it!

Once someone vomited IN the trough of Disaster Transport, so we had to take cups of oil dry into it when we walked it, and the girl doing it slipped and fell in it. I don't envy her, and she never cleaned it up again all season! But that's the worst vomit I've known. I've been a sweep both years as well, and we get some pretty bad stuff!

Magnum-Just Ride It!!!

One thing I LOVE about Snake River! We never have to deal with puke. BUT - we have had 2 pukers. Fortunatly, there wasnt anything noticable by the time the boat came back into the station! lol

HOW could you puke on Snake River?

Let's just say we had our fair share of pukers in camp snoopy. I never saw anyone puke on Woodstocks, but popluar puke spots were Camp Bus (my first puke experience), Balloon Race (I could have puke on that ride myself), Tilt-A-Wirl (Everyone pukes on this ride), and someone, how I don't know, puked on the Lolli Swings. Overall the worst puke was at Tilt-A-Whirl this teenager came out of the gate puked all over the control stand(where the foot pedal is) then proceded to puke down the exit ramp 2 times then once on the midway right outside the exit then once in the mulch by the ride. By far the most I've ever seen anyone throw up :)

IF you can't handle it why put othert people throught it and go on the ride. GOSH. lol
