yea I was working the 18th and my fellow crew mates who I could picture doing something along that line were not there. at times we do get a lil snappy with the guest that ramble and start screaming at you for telling them they can't bring stuff in line. we are just trying to do our jobs and sometimes you do have to get firm with guest that are unwilling to listen.

Yes, but there was someone posted at the top of the steps and there is no excuse for not following a clear as day park policy.

When I went there on the 28th of July, a girl brought a giant Stuffed animal on MF! The op put the Stuffed toy in the seat next to her and straped it in and everything. Just thought you should know.

How did the person even get in line with it?

Would have been interesting to see. :)

Yeah, the animal didn't even scream the whole way, and kept his hands up!

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Okay, I'm not 100% sure, just a guess;). He might've snuck them down on the hill.

I didn't want to start a new topic for this, so this one kind of foots the bill. I noticed during my visit this weekend that Magnum has a new carry on policy. That is, you can't carry anything on anymore. It's the same policy that MF, TTD, and Corkscrew have. There's a new sign posted by the entrance about it, and I was really suprised to see it.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Anything on the ride or the queue? I'm guessing the ride. I don't really see how that changes anything, unless I'm missing something. I thought you couldn't bring anything on anyways, you had to secure it in a pocket or not bring it.

There is a thread over on Coasterbuzz that might offer a little insight as to the reason for the new carry on policy and sign that Chris mentioned.

Opening Day, my brother had some change in his shirt pocket as we crested the lift on Millenium Force. He didn't have it when we go to the bottom. Thing is, he didn't even think about it when we got on, but he realized it as it all fell out and whizzed past his face on the way down, I just hope it didn't hit anyone behind us.

JuggaLotus, I was at CP on opening day also. We went on Magnum, the front of the train was full, so we sat in the back, someone had brought a hat on it and were told to hold onto it. Well, going down the second hill, this hat comes flying about and just nails me in the face, talk about pain.

I am pretty relieved that CP finally got around to doing this, and as much as I hate to say it, I hope it continues onto the other coasters. I took a baseball cap to the face on Villain at GL earlier this summer and it was really painful.

I've been kind of concerned about the potential injuries (especially on MF and Dragster) for quite some time, because people insist on trying to sneak past the entrance with things because they're either too lazy or too cheap to get a locker or a strap.

But then again, I've always been more of a better safe than sorry kind of person.

Too cheap!? Their locker prices are outragous!

I always take my hat on with me, and its either sat on or I undo the strap and wrap that around the handle or something else which is attached to the train. I don't see why this still wouldn't be an option or at least to be able to sit on it.

Goodbye MrScott

My dad sat on his St. Louis Cardinals hat while we were on Magnum, he lost it...

Lockers only cost a dollar and if it streches your pockets that much walk your happy self out to your car and put it away. *** Edited 8/31/2004 12:31:08 AM UTC by 1/2ofthetwoheadedmonster***
