Hi, how does the washer and dryer situation work if u are living in golds dorms on point??? such as, how many are there, where are they located, and how much does each cost? thanks for any info u can provide!!!
There are a ton of them located right out side the dorms. As for cost im not sure i want to say 50 cents a load but like i said im unsure
I think that the washers cast 75 cents a load, and the dryers cost 50 cents a load. That was the cost for last year.

The laundry rooms fill up very quickly so it's a good idea to go when nobody else is there. Basically your going to be washing socks and underwear and t-shirts. Your uniform is basically what you wear all summer so I suggest no bringing too many clothes. Just enough to get by on your days off and when work is done.
A guy would say that kind of crap.....I brought my entire closet, like I do everywhere, but I lived off point and didn't wash my clothes there (I went home every other week to do it) until I moved into Bayside because the Commons washers & dryers are always full plus they're so far away.

I think bringing an entire closet of clothes takes up too much space. Then again that's my opinion. Your going to be wearing that uniform about 90 percent of the time so just think logically.
I wore my uniform to work. I went out at night. Therefore, I wore a different outfit every day even when I worked 12 hours or so. So there! lol

Well, there's two different opinions for ya!! If you plan on going out a lot, bring what you think you'll need for after hours stuff. If you're a homebody, then the minimal will surely suffice!!

Personally I brought way too many clothes last year and there was no room for the stuff. Ended up wearing about half of it. I frequent the night life stuff quite a bit so just bring what you feel is necessary for after working hours. I wasn't that impressed with what people were wearing in the bars in general anyways.
The problem with me is I abhor wearing the same thing twice in a period of like a month. It's the way I was brought up, my mom used to keep a written record of what I wore to school when I was in like 4th grade so I wouldn't wear the same thing twice hehe. So as a result, and also as a result of picky dressing depending on my mood that night, I have to bring enough of a selection that I can find things that look good and feel alright every night without knowing I already wore something the week before. Go ahead, call me shallow, but that's just the way I see it. So I continue to support the idea of bringing your entire wearable (by that I mean it fits and is not terribly out of date) wardrobe.
As for the original question of washers and dryers, I didn't live in Golds so I don't know, but I already gave my views on the ones in Bayside & Commons. I do remember the ones in both of those places being pretty expensive tho, and there not being a change machine in Bayside grrrrr.
