Waiting during break down

What do you do when TTD is down and the line is closed. I usually stay in the general area and ride magnum so i can keep checking for updates. on long line days i just sit right on the black fence. Thoughts?

Go ride all of the other rides in the park and check back later in the day...

I agree with S2Kster, plus, you have to take into consideration that it is a huge 420 ft. tower sticking up into the air....you can pretty much see it anywhere in the park, and see if it's running.

As mentioned above, hit the rest of the rides. I usually do not go near the black fence unless the ride is about to open, and they begin letting people in.

I do something else because its not going to open long enough for me to get on it anyway. That's just MY experience with it.

Yeah, the minute I hear it breaks down I leave and let people stand there for a half hour. Unless I'm on the platform of course.

When I was at the park on Saturday and Dragster broke down at about 5:30 well I was on the platform waiting for the front seat I waited in the station for an entire 6 hours when they finally got it running. In the end their were only seven of us in the station. To pass the time we had the employees to watch and played games. But that was a long wait but it was still worth it.

Wow, six hours? I don't think I'd wait for any ride for that long, no matter how great of a ride it is.

Ya it ended up that one of the sixteen motors that run the ride broke and they had to replace it.

Yes all the other rides are great, but I already rode all the rides I wanted to. So you see I had the time to spare. Plus I had another day to go to the park.

that's crazy, I was in line sat and used my freeway when it broke down for the 6 hours, I saw some people waiting and goofing of and I couldn't beleive they waited, congrats big jon lol. I knew cp would re-open it later in the night so i caught a front row ride, with a rollback, and a ride on the red train after it broke down after our rollback. Took about an hour total, after the park was closed.

Always have a bottle with you, that way u can play spin the bottle if hott girls are around. By the way, would you get in trouble if you had a hacky sac or something?

Probably not, but there isn't really room if you're in the queue. If you were against the fence maybe it'd be ok, as long as you aren't kicking everyone within 10 feet of you.

Yeah I was just wondering. I wouldnt do it just because I wouldnt want to bother people around me. It would definetally be better than just sitting and waiting tho. Maybe next time ill just bring a deck of cards or something.

Yeah on July 15th they said Dragster might open so i sat dow around 12pm at the front(would of been the first one on if it had opened) But at 6pm they brought a crane over and started ripping the track apart so i left.

this is what you do sit on the black fence till the ride opens. If its closed long if your pretty close to the front of the line.

During break downs I will wait in the Magnum que, the MF que, CCMR que, Troika que, Wave Swinger que. Well you get the idea.
