"Visit to Cedar Point much like purgatory"

If she was really going for the purgatory angle, she needs to close the loop with a few lines about the heaven of reaching St. Peter (the station), opening the "pearly" (well, metal air-) gates, and meeting God/ghoddess on the first drop.

Or is that too over the top?

Oh, WOW! I guess she doesn't know that Cedar Point always ranks #1 for having best capacity.

I wonder if she was a "tormented soul" while riding. I can't beliefe that they even allowed her to print that article!

No, Brian, That was not over the top, in fact, I think that was an understatement.

After reading that article, I think that I need a psychiatrist!

Let's go straight to the Merry-Go-Round!

I'm surprised no one has told her to go visit a Six Flags park yet... :-P

So um..

If I'm going on August 24th/25th this year, should I expect two hour waits for MF? :P

Probably, but it's hard to say. The lines depend on so many other factors such as weather and the operation of other rides. I find that when Dragster is closed, MF's line is much longer.

Was this woman serious? This has got to be one of the dumbest articles I have ever read.

It's impossible to tell what the crowds will be. Just go have a good time!
Heh, everyone's focusing on the line thing, but I found humor other places:

"finding it hard to hear and even harder to concentrate"

What the hell do you have to concentrate on at an amusement park?

Secondly, I'm not sure the two hours in line bugged her, it seems more like the external circumstances involved that annoyed her:

"standing under a blistering sun"

"Parched and hungry"

"forced to pay large sums of money for cold drinks that only made us need a bathroom..."

"We couldn't really relax, because once we got comfortable, the line moved"

"we ran out of things to talk about"

So she's mad at the sun. She's mad that it made her thirsty. She's mad that she had to pay for a drink. She's mad that her body needs to expel the excess liquid and waste. She's mad that she's there with someone boring.

On top of that she's moaning about a 2 hour line, then turns around and complains that the line moves every time she got 'comfortable' - hypocrisy so beautiful, I almost shed a tear.

It only took a moment to read the story and still made me feel like I was stuck in Dante's Purgatorio.

LOL :)

That woman has obviously been to very few amusement parks. If she complains about a line that moves, I wonder what she would do in line for something at A Six Flags park...

Coaster Count: 147

I could not have said it better, Lord Gonchar. She's so mad at everything, things that has nothing to do with the park. And things that every park has.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

If she is going to complain about those things, I think she has no buisness being in any Amusement Park.
