Just a really strange, short article.
(BONUS: Lets see who catches the mistake!)
She's wrong because its not insane to wait that long for MF, infact, that's a GOOD day during most of my summer trips to Cedar Point.

Plus, a 2-hour midsummer MF line is closer to hell, not purgatory. It's only advantage over hell is that it is not interminable.
I don't think too many of us actually ENJOY waiting in line, but we do it for the end result, a great coaster. The first year MF opened, I waited over 4 hrs. for a ride. Only got 3 rides then the park closed. Pretty expensive, but worth every penny. As a coaster enthusiast, I can't help but wonder exactly how much of my life I've spent shuffling around in cue lines for the past 25+ years. I'm guessing it's added up to a honkin' big chunk of time (I'm not as artsy-fartsy).
Spoiled brats, is what I've got to say to that woman, her friends, and her husband.
Once that happened, my husband and friends knew they were about to be transported to a higher level of persecution as I, with dazed and far-off looking eyes, opened my mouth to ask, "Doesn't this remind you of Dante's Purgatorio?" <---Now that deserves a "Dumb Thing To Say" award.
Oh yes it's just like purgatory in line for those idiots, but I bet they don't think about it as being "purgatory" while they're riding it.
I bet people right next to those complainers thought they were in "purgatory" after listening to those people complain and whine all the time.

I worked in low-wage media too, but I knew that if I went to an amusement park (or movie, ball park, whatever) that I wasn't going to get any deals on soda. If you can't deal with that, you shouldn't go.

We couldn't really relax, because once we got comfortable, the line moved. Our peace constantly was broken by the roar of the coaster above us and the screams of the tormented who were riding it.
1) So she complains about the 2 hour line, but then complains again on how the line does move?
2) If you go to Cedar Point for a peaceful time, you won't find it in line for Millennium Force. Other side of the peninsula, lady.
I'd like to find the Cedar Point she was expecting - with cheap drinks, short lines, and peaceful times.
