Valravn Goes Vertical--Construction Starts

Anything new on the construction of Valravn?

Nothing worthwhile. Just taking care of various things while the drop section is being prepared.

The final piece of the lift is assembled. Look like we might see the drop topped off today! :)

Now place a giant cushion at the bottom so we can test the big drop!

It's a huge ramp right now. Can you jump across the Midway?

It may make it to the beach! Lol

Looks like they have added the next part into the Immelman. This for me should be the most exciting part to see, as it will give us a good feel of how it will interact with the midway.

Also they are beginning to disassemble the Manitowoc crane.

I'm curious, with the lack of support along the top of the Immelman, will they work backwards from the small supports that are already in place?

Presumably, since it's essentially the same situation as the main drop.

If I remember correctly, they worked backwards for Gatekeeper's Immelman.

Now it looks like a gigantic "J", yeehaa!

As suspected, the construction does seem to be moving a lot quicker now that the lift and drop is all done. Do you think that the MCBR will take long though since it's a tight squeeze and all?

These are great, thanks for doing this! I would love if you could put the latest image on a static URL so I could just periodically refresh that to see the latest image. :)
