Update: September 9

Ya I know they do.. I just was saying it was kinda cool they put the top of the hill up.... what being 9/11 and all....

I was there on the 9th (and 10th) and if you can't tell from the pictures, they have started some more work on the future pond under the corkscrews by adding rock and piping. I can't wait to see the completed project next year, I'm looking forward to this ride!

Yeah, on Saturday, they were moving stone around all day.

The huge supports for the lift tower are now in the project area. w00t!

I have a question. The old swan pond, is that actually concrete at the bottom or actual dirt like a real pond? Because since they're making this new pond it makes me wonder how they're doing this?

I'm pretty sure it's just dirt. I found some pictures in the construction gallery on the CP site.

Well today I'm betting they'll finish off the rest of the first hill. Since they topped it off yesterday.

I think it'll take a few more days to finish the hill. There's 4 more A-frames and another 9-12 pieces of track. JMO

I was just thinking the same thing Mr Inkspot. They did put up the next A-frame with the next piece of track, so the crest of the hill is now complete. The rest of the hill will all be straight launch track.

Horseshoe Roll looks better then ever

How can it look better than ever? Did it magically change to GCI or GG coaster? :)
