As always, great work Walt. Thanks!!!
There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark.
Is there any hope for some trees returning?
It looks like a barren wasteland out there... :(
Let's just hope the new attraction either incorporates some new vegetation or looks nicer than those trees!
Very good pics! Keep up the awesome job.

today when i walked around the entire site and then went on mean streak to get a better arieal view u can't even imagine how massive this construction site is until you are actually there...
btw, does anyone know what the PINK spray paint lines mean because there were quite a few of those around the site
More than likely the lines are marking utility lines, either existing or planned... After looking through the pictures I am really amazed at the size of the site. And I know it will be even more massive when I see it in person...
Its amazing that this much is done on Opening Day. If the theory is true that there will be multiple attractions for 2007, I think that a set of Flying Scooters (like Air Crow at Indiana Beach) would be a great addition for the park. Even though I'm sure CP would not allow snapping, I think the ride with a bird or flight theming would fit in well near Skyhawk. Plus its a great family ride!

I agree it is amazing how large the construction zone is. It really looks huge. Thanks for the great pics.
Thrills Around the Corner!
Wow. That is all I can say.
I love the size of all of this land. I really do. And all these footers? Man! Round, Rectangular, Land & Water, OH BOY! An orgasm in my pants just started.
And I took further notice to see how blue that water is over by Snake River where some footers are. I admire that blueness of the water at the present time, that is, until it turns brown not to long from now and gets all ugly looking. Wish they'd keep it blue. Looks nice.

Although I am also excited about 2007... I think you may have gotten a bit too descriptive there.
Have fun at RipCord this season... I worked there in 2002 and it is a lot of fun to work. At least I thought so, and free flying is also another huge perk.

Did anyone notice if there are footers leading to the former WWL station? I'm curious how it is going to be used in all of this.
Yes there are footers there, however I believe they are just the old ones remaining from WWL.
Nice section and updates Walt. You really have to be there to take in the entire scope of everything though. Pictures do not do justice to how big this area really is. I couldn't believe how big that area is when I was there yesterday.

I must be the only one who thought the land was smaller than it looked in pictures.
I agree. The land looks a lot smaller in real life than it does in any pictures.

in terms of the old white water landing station, the insides were gutted including the turning platform and the staircase to that however the que and the ramp into the building were all still in tact...
also i didn't notice any markers going towards the bulidng however there were markers that went right next to them and past the building going towards the entrance to the palace theatre
