Either it's a very good guess or he knew something. Funny how it was about four months ago when he said that.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

What's the difference on who knew what and when? Bottom line, you guys know where to go when you want Cedar Point news, information and great discussion. That's all that matters. Besides, no one is asking tambo what he knew.
I reckon that "Tambo" is either: Jeff, Walt, or Dick Kinzel.
That 'guess' was a little too acurate. *** Edited 12/3/2004 4:35:25 AM UTC by Detroit Basketball***

CP4eva, I think we bet $100.00. Just donate my winnings to the Hospice group in your area. They could use it well, I'm sure.
I was crossing my fingers behind my back when i accepted the bet. Muuwahaha.

It wasn't exactly hard to take an educated guess. Rumors have been around for months about a Delirium type ride.
It was obvious the paint was on the ground closing weekend. I took some pictures of it as well, but ended up deleting them by mistake (I couldn't remember why I had taken pictures of concrete - doh)
I don't understand why everyone else is fascinated by this as well. Walt and Jeff are just 2 ordinary people that happen to know HTML (And well, a few other languages) and run a website with a message board. It's not a big deal.
The utility survey marks appeared all over the place several weeks before the end of the season. You don't need to be a brain surgeon to realize something was going down there.
I found out about this one many months ago. The industry is small, and word gets around. You'd be surprised what a senior manager at a park a thousand miles away might know about another park. People talk, but know better enough to keep things on the down low.
The great irony is that if you want to be in the loop, you can't tell anyone what you learn or you'll be out of the loop from then on.

I can assure you I am none of these people. I am too old to be Walt or Jeff and too poor to be Kinzel. :-) *** Edited 12/3/2004 12:54:59 PM UTC by tambo*** *** Edited 12/3/2004 12:55:32 PM UTC by tambo***
I had someone ask me a couple months ago what I thought might be going in, and although I didn't know, my opinion/wish was for a Huss Giant Frisbee. Several people reported seeing Kinzel at PKI checking out Delirium last year, and just from 38 years of watching the park grow, it seemed to me it was just "time" for a huge thrill ride instead of another coaster.
So when it was announced, I wasn't as surprised, but extremely happy, and I'm sure at least one person thinks I had inside information. If you look, many times the clues are there, even if there are no specifics.
