I create fabrication drawings on a daily basis, so I am good at reading blueprints. There was a pic posted yesterday taken from a ride (bad idea) but it showed a good arial of the site. I looked at it as if it were a blueprint. I think there is enough of the track and supports up now that it is not too dificult to figure out what is going on.

I'm on the same "track" as sunfire. I have a good idea of what I think its going to be doing from here on out. But, I hope they throw some surprises at me!! Then again, I have NO idea what the trains will be like. But, even if they're standard MF trains, it looks like a fun ride.
Looks like the first half of the ride is complete - minus the launch hill. Now on to the second half!! :)
Looks like the last part of the first half of the ride is complete to me ;)

After seeing those aerial pics yesterday the ride just looks crazy!! I say that because you know how the track is like real low to the ground and its sidewinding everywhere with crazy inversions. I wonder if will have loops and cobra rolls and inclined loops and.... well I just can't wait till the ride is finished.
I really dont think the entire ride is going to be low to the ground. I think what you see so far is low to the ground because there will be more track above it and its a pita to build something under somthing that is already there. Im thinking max height to be 120-150ft. The highest point of the ride will be above the first piece of track that was put in place. There will be a lift (probably not a traditional lift) that heads towards the bay. The part of the ride that goes over the pond will follow the LIM launch that will take place after the second inversion (under construction now). After the boost, the ride will bank left and head towards the pond.

From looking at the illegal picture. (thank god i saved it when i saw it) you can tell that all the places where the track will cross itself the track that hasnt been installed will go OVER the already installed track. This suggests to me that the part that is currently installed will be the end of the ride. The mid course launch or whatever ti will be could mess with this idea, but almost all full circuit coasters go from high height to low.
Mechanical Engineer: Dont mess with us, we design your coasters.
You don't think the drop after the "launch hill" will lead right into the first piece of track they installed? That's why I said the first half of the ride minus the launch hill. :)
I think the first piece of track that they installed will not be after the first drop of the ride. I think what they have in place now is end of the first part of the ride, not the begining of it. Think of the ride divided into four parts. The first 1/4 has not been constructed yet, there are very few supports in place for that part of the ride, the second 1/4 is the track we see now. The 3/4 is what it looks like they are about to start laying track for. and the last 1/4 which will wind in and out of what is already in place.

Ok yeah, we're saying the same thing!! :) I just split the ride into two parts instead of four.
But, what do you think comes after the first drop - assuming the first drop is behind UR Dead?
Probably more inversions. I think the first drop will be kinda like http://www.rcdb.com/ig977.htm?picture=31
I cant really figure out the first 1/4 of the ride but the last 3/4s seem to be very easy to figure out at this point.

Yeah I was thinking the drop would look like that too. But, I think it will go right into the S-curves that are already constructed. Take a look at the aerial. The HUGE footings which are obviously for the lift towers slightly arc over toward the bay. That tells me the track is going that way too. Right into the upward sloping track already in place.
I donno, I think it may do a bit more than that.
I think that because that section of track your talking about is directly below where I think the highest point of the ride will be. Even if it drops straight down, It doesnt look like there will be enough room for the pull out to enter that turn.

I see that some think the first piece will be coming from the pond.....well I strongly believe it wont be. It's pointing away from the pond and is angling more towards the line of footings. Look and then think of how it's placed.

This is my guess.

(the red just represents where the track will be going, not necessarily height...like the drop for instances)
Just my 2 cents.

I dont see where the track can go over by the swings like that! ;)
Seriously though, I am not so sure the first drop doesnt go into the swan pond area. I think that would add to the excitement, having its fastest point be right out where everyone can see.
