That is an optical illusion, the new inversion is pretty far away from those huge supports.
I though the same thing when I looked at it, so I checked a couple different shots with different angles to be sure, and it is not on top of the huge support as the picture in question seems to show.
Platinum has it's perks. So does living exactly 97.5 miles from King's Island and Cedar Point
There's a few pics I forgot to send in, but it's all good. It's shaping up pretty nice. My quess is that this new inversion will look more like a zero g roll then a cork. And it'll exit into a U turn that will lead right inbetween those tall supports near WWL station.

Thanks STR8, I'll be here all week. Actually, I was making as much fun of myself as anyone else. Awhile back, I predicted that this would be an Aquatrax with a section that travels backwards. Now I'm thinking that it will just be a straight forward mega looper. So far, it's looking like a fun ride.
...and enjoy the rest of your day at Cedar Point, The Am-aaaa-zement park!
Thanks for the clarification RTurb. From the first pic it truly does look like it is connected to the "giant" support.
Is there a possibility that the train could be arranged somewhat like skyhawk and have the seats facing outward (or left or right) instead of ahead and the backs of the people's seats are facing eachother. That could explain the sidewinding clue and a whole new direction clue, and the white water landing loading area could be split so a person could choose which direction they want to face? I'm just flapping my gums
Force, you suggestion is certainly interesting. Ball coaster seating configuration on a traditional train certainly would be possible and unique for sure.
I look at the track in place and see the video of the layout to date, and I STILL think WW. Yes, I've seen the footers that ARE too close, but we don't know with certainty that track will be attached to those supports.
WW more than satisfies a ton of the clues given and fortunatly it appears the section in question will be next to see track.
Maybe I am just holding onto a pipe dream. Time will tell for sure.
yeah, i've certainly never seen anything like that done on a coaster and it would be a unique experience to go through a corkscrew and banked turns with the scenery coming by from left to right.
Force, I'v thought about coasters like that many times before. I always thought someone should design a coaster like that. If that wish were to come true, then that would be pretty cool. I think its certainly a possibility.
