Thanks to Ralph for these photos:
I hope that the mechanical building will be themed accordingly. It seems the ride will come fairly close to it and would be a shame to have a nicely themed ride and then have the mechanical building just sort of there. Then again CP isn't real big on theming, so there probably won't be an isue.
The layout looks righteous so far. The inversions with all the high degree of banking close to the ground are going to be awesome at speed.
My son is begging to get on it already. (I'm ready too)
Sweet Pics. Makes everything seem alot more complex. I find the layout to be more and more intresting and exciting as the days go by. BTW I am still wondering if all the supports and track have been delivered to the staging area or not. Has anyone one seen any new deliveries to staging. I wonder if this could possibly be a stand up coaster. I Think it would be sweet standing up flying by the ground at high speeds and gotta love the inversions.

Yes Intamin Ag has a Stand Up model. However a new one has not been built in a few years this may be the next generation. I'm hoping. However as long as theride layout the trains dont matter to me as long as they are semi comfortable.

So, the way the track just ends like that, I'm guessing that this will be the first of its kind jumping coaster. My guess is that the roller coaster car will be like a boat and it will jump off of the track into the pond making a big splash. Then it will follow a water ride trough back to the old White Water Landing station for getting off.
Please be careful with humor. Someone around here is going to take you seriously, and then we'll have nineteen threads about a 'jumping' coaster. ;)

Yikes, that looks sick. But I guess yay for inversions? Great pics to everyone who keeps taking them, thanks a bunch!

Ensign, who said that I was joking. Cedar Point really needs another water ride and this would be the perfect addition. Another coaster and another water ride at the same time.
Okay, you are right I was joking. I was wondering if anyone would take me seriously and either run with it or call me an idiot.
...and enjoy the rest of your day at Cedar Point, The Am-aaaa-zement park!
Wow! A jumping coaster..I can't wait to tell my friends. Is it going to be like the jumping coaster at the fair? The injuries were all mild but you know Cedar Point will find a way to do it right. And what about load times, will they be able to keep capacity on the coaster since a true jumping coaster needs no unloading time, it should help keeping the lines going pretty fast. Just like a Maverick, a bucking Bronco will take us all in a new direction and keep the old water ride station for towels to dry off. PERFECT! It all makes sense now. Since it is a jumping coaster, I am kinda glad it is not 500 feet tall. Phew!
Sorry for the mess. Signature under construction.
Ok so it looks as if the bunny hill we're seeing leads into the corkscrew, but it's not connected to the S curve. It looks like the S curve leads right into this second corkscrew we're seeing (i'm assuming this is corkscrew, but it could very well be a diving loop as well). Does that make sense? I haven't been at the park since before they started putting up track so I can't make out what the layout area looks like. But am I right for the most part here?

Yeah that an awesome picture. It is shaping up nicely. I can't wait for the anouncement and hearing why they started so early. Thus I'm still thinking there's more to this ride than we know of! Can't wait to go sideways.
Oh, mY GoD ItS uPsIdE DoWn?!?!
Cool pics....
Im Dont Have Schitzophrenia... I just have alot of imaginary friends...
S.A.R.S.=Severe-Acute-Respritory-Syndrom... how much of an Oxymoron is that?!?!?
The way the track looks to me it almost looks like raptors cobra-roll for a sit-down coaster. From the train yesterday that is what I noticed most about the new track.
Also the track that curves between the two inversions is right over the suspected new pond area and looks like it will be damn close to the water if it is a pond.
The newest inversion is connected to one of those giant supports, but on the side. Is this support going to grow and be apart of the lift hill? I can't imagine why else the support would be so huge and have a lil piece come off for this newest inversion.

Natas... I have been looking at this site religiously for years and I have never posted once, but after reading this I just had to congradulate you on posting the funniest thing that I have ever read on here.
I wouldn't be suprised if it doesn't start some kind of crazy rumor.
