I'm not talking about an animal either.

Ride on, MrScott!
I have a question...do you think the pigeons are as excited about this ride as the rest of us?
If you take a look at this photo http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4890, I can't help but wonder if this pigeon wins some sort of prize amongst the aviary group for 'repainting' the support white.
Back on the subject...thanks for the update!

Just so ya know.....that's a Larus argentatus Pontoppidan or Herring Gull.:)

^Or as it's known locally, a Lake Rat.
These two track pieces are kind of intriguing: http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4920
The one to the right makes me think of magnetic brakes.
Water is involved

^^That's what I was thinking. It could be a catwalk of sorts....maybe.
I see a resemblance looking at the catwalk on Goliath.http://www.rcdb.com/ig1565.htm?picture=55
By which I mean it's 2 sections. One being the extension connected to the track and two being the actual catwalk.

Well, based on the direction of the light, it seems that Jason took those photos in the morning, possibly before Thunder Canyon had opened for the day (11:00). The ride isn't usually filled until just shortly before it opens. You can walk over there after park opening and easily see that it's not yet filled in the morning.

Last time i was at CP (aug 9th) i saw a crane on the beach that was right next to wicked twister, and also a shark cages type thing accept it was really F^cked up and it had a cirlce on the top so a crane could pick it up...that probably has nothing to do with it but it was just sitting on the beach found it odd. Might have nothing to do with this ride but just wanted you guys to know. I hope they announce this thing soon.
Kris_09, this might explain that...
