Walt, I know your pictures are copyrited but are we allowed to print them and display them. And obviously I would leave the copyright in the corner.
Walt, I really like your pictures. I don't know what kind of equipment you use, but I wish I had it. All I have is a 5MP Kodak digital camera.. just your basic camera. Although, I don't get much out of the night shots.
I'd love to be able to take a picture of a ride with it's lights on while the sky is dark, but instead it comes out all blurred and what it should not be.
Quite sad.

^I have a very similar issue and I sometimes get lucky with night shots, but you have to take a the same picture over and over again and cross your fingers one might turn out.
I have a 5MP Canon Powershot.
Surprisingly the best night shot I have of CP is with a crappy 3.2MP camera.

If you don't mind Walt, I was a bit bored and decided to make some little touches to make your photo look more alive. Got rid of lake Erie's ugly brown water (made it a bit more of a neutral color) and added a little color to the sky. I also took out some features that were somewhat obstructing the view a bit. Hope you don't mind :)

Hey Adam, maybe you could work some of your magic and stick in a tiny Snoopy on a flying Sopwith Camel? That would be the coup de grace. ;)
My author website: mgrantroberts.com.
I have gotten the measurements to my light thing (I still don't know what their called.) 1' x 12' 4" wide x 4" deep. That's using Walt's pic and I need it a little wider getting Lighthouse Point to the end of the parking lot at the front of the park. Millennium Force is going to be the hardest to do the lighting for due to the lighting for the supports are all screwed up. It's going to take me a little while to make it, but once it turns out, it'll be awesome!
I don't know if you want the time to set it up, but for anyone to get the perfect night shots, use a tripod and set the exposure to open for 2-3 seconds using the manual setting on your camera. It's usually the "M" on the dial or settings. It should turn out some of the best night pics outside of the park. *** Edited 4/11/2007 3:16:58 PM UTC by ltparkmaster***

Walt, your picture reminds me of the old Cedar Point banner that was on their website a while ago. Great Picture! Quick question, is that Magnum's turn around just to the left of Skyhawk, I was wondering what it was, and that's all I can think of.

Here's another Photoshopped picture. I colored the water and the sky more blue and added Snoopy and his Sopwith Camel. Hope Walt doesn't mind.

Thanks Walt and Nick! Very nice guys!
There are 2 types of computer users in the world; those that back up often, and those that have never had a hard drive fail.
Hahahaha, thats pretty good Nick. I actually did a pic of snoopy in a real Sopwith Camel, but the pic was too big for photobucket and it turned out too small. Here's a shortened version. (you'll notice I put my snoopy in almost the same spot as Nick:))

Did we get this picture again when the park was "alive" during the 2007 season?
No, I didn't get that done. This one, though, did provide a great image for the footer.
that's ok walt, this one is still great!
